There is a fire ring that can be used outside of this time: “Burn Ban Zone Three - July 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022”.
There are two twin mattresses available, on a trundle bed.
I’ll have a container of clean drinking water for you in (or just behind) your cabin.
There is an outhouse behind the main (larger) cabin that I live in.
There are many many trails, caves, rivers and streams in the area, and even Mt Adams is nearby!
Additional campers could be ok if they bring a tent/camper to sleep in. Message me and we can chat about it!
*Dogs on leashes are okay if we communicate about it first to confirm, as I have two indoor/outdoor cats.

Not a bad spot. The cabin itself was charming and cozy, but could use a little TLC for the sake of comfort. The bedding showed evidence of having not been changed prior to arrival which is sort of a big deal.
We wanted a place close to Trout Lake to get an early start on forest volunteering the next morning. The small cabin was perfect (saving us the hassle of tent set-up and tear-down), and amenities like solar lights, outhouse, and stored water were great.
Our only suggestion is that, for the price (which is more than a standard state park cabin), a little more attention to cleaning (cobwebs &c. in the rafters) and better bed situation (off the floor) would make sense - I think the latter is in the works.
We enjoyed it and would stay again if those improvements happened, or if the price dropped a little.
Cool property. Cozy cabin. Amazing host who was very responsive to our needs. Would definitely recommend this to our friends and hope to come back to visit in the future!
Suzy was really kind. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated with portable lights, books, cushions, a comfortable mattress and pillow. The cats were sweet. My little kids were very happy there. Thank you, Suzy!
