Easily accessible, private forest!
Excellent site! You really can't find a closer site to jump off into the Sol Duc Falls area or the High Divide. This is literally across the main highway from the turnoff for it. Charming, well laid out, dense forested camp site with all the necessary basics and a centralized area for any additional needs for cooking, firewood, drinking water, a hot shower, etc. Will definitely stay here again.
Overall great spot. Site was small but fit us well. Small fire set up. The bathroom was good to have and it was clean. Wish we knew it was a hike up a little hill to the actual site though.
Such a cool campground!! I overheard one of our campmates describe it as the camping version of a hostel; there were awesome shared spaces (grill, kitchen area) and our site was very private and had a comfortable and convenient wooden tent pad. The location was exactly where we wanted to be too; would highly recommend!!!
This campsite was nearly deserted the whole week we were there the first week of October, but I would expect more people to visit during the weekend. The site is conveniently located right off the 101, next to lake crescent, and centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula! The only downside would be that since it is so close to the 101 it can be a little loud when bid trucks drive by. Otherwise a great spot!!
Magical hideaway in the forest
This was a very chill place to stay with all the little details covered. I loved the big trees, cool vibe, little stream running through the property and location.
The property is great and all other sites are good except site 3B. The location of. 3B is very awkward. But the property has clean bathrooms and showers so try to take another site not 3B
