Serene Mountain Top Tiny Cabin

"And into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul."   This property epitomizes this quote by John Muir as you swing from the front porch and watch deer forage while sipping coffee to the mountain views beyond.  Notice eagles swirling above as they catch the thermals and hear nighthawks call and boom as they feed at dusk.  Enjoy the sky full of stars as an owl hoos you to sleep.  

Situated 2.5 miles from downtown Leavenworth, we consider it a day well spent to hike down the mountain to town and back.  Hike or mountain bike the nearby 10-mile recreational road with phenomenal views of Leavenworth and the North Cascades.  

This 12' x 12' three story cabin charmer has a sitting area and wood burning stove (wood provided) on the first floor, fully made up bed on the second floor (accessed by pull down ladder) and a small cupola sitting space for one thin person on third floor.   If you choose not to climb the ladder the couch/futon folds down into a full size bed on the first floor.  

To start your morning off right, we provide the coffee!   Doggie bowls and a pet air mattress are provided.  Cabin does have electricity but does NOT have running water/a bathroom.  A latrine is located 120 yards down the path.  Three gallons of water is provided as well as a cooler, you will need to bring ice.  The cabin is private from where hosts stay.  A primitive outdoor shower and well water available 230 yards from cabin where hosts camp.  Towels provided.

Cabin is difficult to find during the day and impossible to find at night if you do not know where to look.  There are also one lane mountain roads with turn offs.  Arriving during daylight is STRONGLY encouraged.
