Camping w/kids/animals (4 families)
The hosts were responsive and detailed. Friendly when we arrived. The sites were clean. The porta potty was the cleanest one we've ever seen. The paint supplies for the kids were a hit! We are looking forward to going back. It was peaceful and plenty of room between our four families. The river front was gorgeous and serene! Perfect spot!
An absolutely beautiful, peaceful and accommodating space. We had four large rigs together for a family camping weekend and it worked so well. Kayaking, fishing, bird watching, campfires, rock painting, what more could you ask for in a weekend retreat. Thank you Stacy and Kyle for sharing your property. We hope you continue because we would love to come back again and again.
Relaxing riverfront oasis
I absolutely loved camping here, this was our 4th trip with our RV, I was a little nervous to not have Hook ups but it was a non issue. The property is gorgeous, being next to the river was heaven on earth. The hosts even put out paints and brushes, that was a sweet touch that we all loved it. They also had ports potty’s that were clean and nice. The location was fantastic and easy to find. Our dogs were soooo happy to explore freely and safely. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I’m totally already wanting to book another trip here ASAP ❤️❤️
Beautiful place !
This is a beautiful spot on the river and we enjoyed the quiet time by the river in beach chairs.
Because of the bend in the river , our spot at 2C was very private .
It’s an open space with the sites but they are spread out.
I appreciate that there are only a few spots , this makes it worth the fee.
Also having 2 clean port a potties away from the sites is nice!
The river is clean and. cold . Kyle was very welcoming, friendly, and checked in several times to make sure we had what we needed .
Highly recommend !
Peaceful spot by a river.
Kyle’s property is beautiful and the river is so refreshing. A lot of care was taken to make sure the porta-potties were clean and well stocked and we had wood at a nice picnic table. We had a great stay. Kyle even came by all of the campsites to check in and make sure everything thing was ok. This is a relaxing place with a thoughtful host that I recommend and will return to soon.
Camping just the way we like it!
It's so hard to add a review when we absolutely enjoyed our stay, and thought this was one of the best getaway spots we could hope for...because who wouldn't want to keep it a secret?!!
The space was exactly as advertised: quiet, beautiful, HUGE riverfront property. The portable toilet was super clean which was such a relief because it's so uncomfortable using a messy, dirty, unkempt outhouse-type of toilet. (It didn't hurt that it was cleaned on our second day there).
The space was definitely large, flat, and hardpacked enough for a number of vehicle sizes to come through. They really deliver on thoughtful features like canopies, chairs, water equipment, a BBQ!, and picnic tables with activities like rock painting.
We have a goal to book the entire space next year for a family reunion.
One note for the screen-addicted: one of the features we adored about this space is that it gets a terrible cell signal (we had AT&T and Verizon). So this was a luxury being fully disconnected for a few days. For some, this might drive you crazy.
Kyle is a scholar and a gentleman. He is building an impressive recreational business on his property. He was kind to send us off at the end of our trip. Thank you!
