A little slice of paradise!  This is a large loop site with extra space for your family, or share with friends. Hawthorne Loop offers a swing, plenty of room to play, privacy and easy creek and trail access. Relax by the campfire- a large fire ring with bbq grill is located in the center of the loop.

Scattered trees offer shade, the large grassy area around site provides ample space to roam. A short walk down to the creek below where you can sit and relax by the creek. Follow the nature trails up the hillside to explore our working forest. See the old growth grove, the 50' boardwalk and the magical Fern Hill. There are abundant wildflowers and seasonal berries to pick, as well as a variety of fall apples. Visit the game shack or let the kids play at the playground. We have balls, Frisbee, corn hole boards, ring toss, tether-ball and more.

FRIDGE & ICE: Need a place to keep your food and drinks cold? Need ice? We now have a fridge that you can use.  You can also purchase bags of Ice as needed.

This site can accommodate 1 or 2 RV/tents/families . Loop style camping allows you to be centrally located around the fire pit and picnic table area.

The Rusty Ranch is truly a wonderful place to camp. Peaceful and secluded, the site is large, well equipped, with a nice supply of firewood provided. Our host kindly checked in daily to see if we needed anything. There are hiking trails amongst the woods, and open fields for walking also. We would gladly stay again and highly recommend any of these sites!

Beautiful spot! Scott & Margaret were great and made sure we had everything we needed (including picnic table, porta, fire ring). The location itself is beautiful and private hiking trails are literally a stones throw from your campsite. Technically the listing was not supposed to be available until June but since we were able to make a reservation through Hipcamp they were super accommodating and made it work! It was pretty awesome to be the only people out on the farm but we could tell the other camp sites that they were setting up are going to be great as well. We hope to be back this summer. Highly recommend!
