The hosts were welcoming and kind, and their friendly animals were a charming bonus! =)
We were very pleased that things went so easily on our first Hipcamp stay. The site was clean, pretty, and convenient to everything. We had a lovely, peaceful experience, and will be back!

Thank you for a wonderful review, You two were our first hip campers! We couldn’t have asked for better first time campers. Thank you for sharing our little piece of heaven and for solidifying our choice to become Hipcamp hosts.

This lovely setting, conveniently located, offers something for whatever type of camper you are. Choose your spot from beautiful cedar and fir forested areas or an open field complete with picnic area featuring a fire pit, tall propane heaters, and picnic table. But what is so terrific about this location are hosts Cheryl and Rune and their welcoming, low-key hosting style. Cheryl left flowers for us, Rune built a fire for us, and they both cheerfully pulled our van out from a muddy spot with their on-the-site tractor! We loved the exceedingly friendly and well-mannered pets and farm animals and the tour of Cheryl's amazing greenhouse. Looking forward to the next time we can stay here again!

My family and I decided to check out the tulip festival this weekend and found this amazing farm campsite on Hipcamp. The hosts were very accommodating and kind. They’ve answered all the questions I had (first time booking), the directions they gave about the location was spot on! The campsite was clean, inviting and so peaceful. We got to meet their 2 dogs and Buttercup (Turkey) who pretty much kept us entertained during our entire stay. There 4 campsites spread all over the property each with privacy. I will definitely recommend this spot to my family and friends. Can’t wait to be back!

Thank you for the wonderful review. I’m so glad you enjoyed Buttercup, and the rest of our animals. They can be a bit pushy for attention. I noticed Buttercup photo bombed almost all your pictures. We would love to have you and your family return soon. Cheryl and Rune

Rune and Cheryl were very friendly and accommodating as soon as we arrived. Cheryl showed us around the property and we met their very lovable dogs Maggie and Abby. We also met their rescue Turkey Buttercup who may just think he’s a dog himself because he likes to follow you around the premises. Their property is a peaceful gem, with lots of trees providing a sanctuary for your campsite. The area with the fire pit is lovely and spacious and has a picnic table near it if you’d like to enjoy lunch or dinner or a game around the fire. The location of their property is within a 30 minute driving to the tulip festival and Larrabe State Park. I’d definitely stay here again :)
