We have space for 2 small tents max or 1 large tent on our delightful private property facing Lake Sutherland. Max overnight capacity is 4 adults and 2 children. Due to minimal parking availability, our guests will be limited to one vehicle per stay. Directly in front of our cabin you’ll find a flat grassy area to pitch your tent(s) as well as your own fire pit to enjoy and use for cooking. Wake up to beautiful unobstructed views of the lake and star gaze from your tent on clear nights. Enjoy our local resident wildlife, ducks, geese, otters, beavers, eagles and active jumping fish in the lake. Our property is part of the Falls Creek neighborhood and we do have some shared spaces with our other neighbors. As our guest you will have access to an expansive grassy area, suitable for lawn games, and leisure, a large dock equipped with a diving board and perfect for fishing or sunbathing, and a great swimming area with a floating dock to enjoy the lake on warm days. There is also a large communal fire pit right at the edge of the lake. We just ask that you be respectful to our neighbors when accessing these common areas. Depending on the time of the year, you could enjoy all these areas to yourself. Summer months and warmer days bring greater traffic to our little slice of heaven, but there are always many things to enjoy. On our property you will enjoy unobstructed views of the lake, your own personal fire pit, with long skewers for a quick hot dog or some smores. A clean porta potty is dedicated for your stay on the side of our cabin and you’ll have access to cold running water down by your camping spot. Parking is directly behind our cabin and is just a few feet away, making it easy to store items in your vehicle for easy access. Bring your camping chairs, your lawn games and your favorite water toys and enjoy time at the lake. As a bonus we are also under a mile away from a public boat launch with parking available for your boat trailer. You can moor your boat at our slip on the large dock for a couple days if you desire. If you have jet skis, we also have a boat launch area common to our property and a spot for you to park your jet ski trailer. We also have 3 kayaks available for your use for a nominal additional daily fee. You will be fully responsible for practicing all water safety rules, providing your own PFD’s and we will not be responsible for policing your compliance. If you have young children, please make sure you bring suitable PFD’s as the lakefront is just a few steps away. Additional bonus of being our guest is you will be just a few miles away from Lake Crescent and Olympic National Park and many of it’s beautiful hiking trails. You are also just 20 miles West of Port Angeles and the nearest large grocery store, as well as Hurricane Ridge and Olympic National Park Visitors Center. If you just need a few supplies we have a small general convenience store and gas station less than 7 miles west of us. You have quick access to Crescent Beach, Salt Creek and the Joyce area for additional extraordinary views. Finally you are only about 1 hour away from Forks and 2 hours away from the spectacular West end beaches. It is an ideal spot for adventuring on the Olympic Peninsula. Finally the iconic Granny’s cafe is only 5 miles away for a great home cooked meal, one of their epic soft serve cones or stroll over to their mini zoo featuring goats, a donkey, chickens, and emus. Please check the Granny's Cafe Port Angeles website for hours of operation, including seasonal and holiday closures. Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, and the Hoh Rain Forest make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can easily explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the state and county parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha, Sol Duc, and many more), kayak or paddleboard on Lake Crescent, or hang around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Sutherland.  You will have exclusive use of the tent site that you book and have access to the common areas of the property. Other things to note*Bring your own tent to set up at the tent site. *Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property. *Pets are not allowed at this time. This does not mean you will not be visited by our neighbors’ friendly dogs who will be curious to check out who is on our lawn. *There is no shower available for tent campers, but you could easily set up your own camping shower if you feel compelled. We will show you a good area where drainage will be best, should you wish to do this. PLEASE NOTE that towels and toiletries are not provided. There is a portable toilet near the campsite. *Tent sites are limited to 4 adult guests, and 2 kids sleeping in one large tent driving a single vehicle, or two small tents. *(Max 6 adult guests at a site) For gathering of multiple guests and vehicles, please contact us directly and we will let you know where they may be able to park on Southshore Road and walk to the site. *Bring your own firewood, or we do have a few bundles available for purchase. *To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is limited to no lighting at night. This is good to remember when you plan to arrive late after sunset. * Use of generators are prohibited at the campsite due to noise. *There is free WiFi service available at the tent site and we will provide you with your password upon booking. We also do have good LTE/4G cell reception while on the property via the AT&T and Verizon networks in our area.

We had a wonderful stay camping at the Lakeview Tent Spot. Beautiful location along the lake and the hosts were wonderful in providing nice amenities to make our stay comfortable. We just stayed one night to go hiking in the area, but would have loved to stay longer.
