Stay on gravel drive, just past sign saying "River View Retreat" take left fork of drive. Sites are numbered on the electrical box. Please feel free to pull onto the grass to line up your RV.

We absolutely loved our stay! Julie met us right when we pulled up. She was warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. The campsite was right on the river, it felt private and so relaxing. Our two kids and two dogs were so excited that the property was full of adventure! The next afternoon, Dan even took our son on a ride on the tractor, definitely made his day!! We couldn’t wait to get home so we could plan another trip back! It really is such a perfect place to visit!

River View Retreat is amazing! Dan and Julie were great hosts, and made us feel like family. They are truly are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Both sites have 50 amp & standard 20, plus water hookups. River View is family and dog friendly and either site is great. Site 1 is closest to the swing set and fire pit. Site 2 is furthest away from the swing set and their house. Although their house is behind the sites, it is very far and you have your privacy. Both sites are the same size and could accommodate probably a 40' rig. Ours is a 33' trailer. We had choice of either site and chose site 1, so it was easy to see the swing set which the kids absolutely loved. There are 2 access sites to the river. The river is more like a creek, and perfect for kids. The water is crystal clear, warm, fairly shallow, and you can get agates, or just float down the river. Our boys, ages 7 and 4 had a blast and didn't want to leave!! Their neighbor Dan has an amazing collection of rocks to check out as well. We spent Thursday through Sunday here and it was great. I could have stayed a week longer! There are great lakes less than 20 minutes away, and so much to do. You are in the heart of the country here, and the stars and wildlife you see are amazing! We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. So quiet and truly relaxing. There are two sites that are thoughtfully situated on the bank of the river. We chose site 2, as it is furthest from the play structure and the group fire pit area. As it turns out we mainly had the entire place to ourselves. We played in the river, picked raspberries, watched the stars and enjoyed the local family of deer. The area 2 lane country roads are perfect for a nice long bike ride through farmland dotted with old barns and lots of cows and horses. We also made a trip to hike at Mt St Helens, which was a really rewarding experience. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. They truly love this place and it shows in every little detail. Highly recommend!

This was our maiden voyage with our brand new Scamp trailer and we couldn’t as asked for a better first experience. Dan and his family are warm, helpful, welcoming, and sincerely interested in making their guests have an optimal experience. The grounds are lovely, especially for families with kiddos as there is an onsite playground. Access to the river was easy and the views and sounds of the water made for a peaceful stay. There are just two RV spots so if you have friends reserve the other space, you have the entire space to yourselves. We hope to be back!

Dan and Julie were wonderful and provided an excellent experience, not just beautiful land. Our kids and dogs spent the weekend wandering the grounds, swimming in the river, then warming up with s’mores and popcorn by the fire. We already rebooked for later this year and highly recommended this to anyone who is looking to spend quality family time outdoors.

The hosts were very accommodating, but not obtrusive. We were there during the weekdays and were the only campers. It was very quiet. We saw deer several times. The creek was enjoyable. We went over several public bridges before that and wondered if that was what was referenced, but the bridge referenced is a private one with heavy wooden planking. Also, all 3 sites have water and electricity hook ups. I would recommend this. If your extended family has 3 RV's, it would be a great time together.

Oh my gosh, Dan & Julie were the nicest people! Very welcoming & kind. The neighbor, also named Dan, was very friendly & knowledgeable about the agates in the river. Our son said he’ll never forget this camping trip! I’d say it was pretty darn good. The location is serene. All the campsites are directly along the river. Bring water shoes and you’ll have a blast hunting for beautiful rocks or just playing in the shallow water. The hosts, Dan & Julie, raised the bar high for Hipcamp! Julie even had Dan deliver freshly baked peanut butter cookies- yum.
We appreciated the extra touches- nice fire pits at each site, picnic tables and large waste bins. We hope to go back. :)

We originally planned our trip to River View RV Retreat for two nights. After being there for a day, we decided, because they had another opening, to stay an extra night! You really couldn’t ask for better than this RV campsite. The location is absolutely beautiful, one direction you see the beautiful river, turn around and see the magnificent trees. There’s wide open grass, river access, a playground, individual fire pits, as well as a communal fire pit. The owners, Dan and Julie, are extremely gracious and welcoming. We did not get any cellular service there (Verizon). As there is no sewer hookup, we went to Thousand Trails at the end of our stay, and paid $20 to use their sanitation station. We enjoyed our stay so much there, we are already planning our next visit.
