We had a wonderful stay, I can't speak highly enough of this place! This was the 8th Hipcamp that I've stayed at, and it was definitely the best one so far. We'll definitely be coming back.
Of all the Hipcamp sites we’ve used this one is the absolute best! It’s nestled in the woods right on a beautiful stream, very private and thoughtfully appointed with a number of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Dick could not have been more accommodating. He not only brought firewood, but made and lit the fires for us. We stayed two days, but wished we could have stayed longer.
Great site on the river
Gorgeous site! We were in site #1. Great privacy. Host built a campsite with nice extras like standing height cook table, hammock, and patio. Loved being right on the river.
WiFi wasn’t connecting this time, and t mobile cell service was spotty. We didn’t mind being disconnected, though, for a peaceful weekend.
Quiet, peaceful, loved river sounds
I loved this great campsite, lots of amenities, gorgeous river view, very hospitable host, ample firewood, not a vehicle in view! Hope to be back again! Thanks Richard 🙏
Fall camping vacation
Fantastic! It was my second visit to this location and it was just as tidy, accommodating, etc. Clean porta potty, firewood provided when the ban was lifted and overall tidy site. Was worth a splurge for our vacation.
Peaceful, riverside & all the perks
We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! We pulled our 20’ camping trailer alongside the paved patio area in Site 1 and basically had a huge, private riverside oasis to ourselves. Power, water, WiFi & clean potty worked great, easy hookups. Treated ourselves to dinner at Nourish and took day trips to Salt Creek, Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge. It wasn’t the closest hipcamp to things we wanted to see but all the perks made the drives worth it. Loved watching salmon fighting their way upstream and blue herons hunting in the evening. Hosts were lovely. Overall an exceptional stay. The other site is a bit more secluded and near the creek and a small trail but not as close to the river. Both sites are really nice.
A must stay spot
What a beautiful property! Site #1 right on the river, We we’re able to pull our RV up and have a fantastic view of the river. Richard was an excellent host, available at all times, and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds are kept very clean, spacious sites, you feel very secluded even with a second campsite 100 yards away. Perfect spot away from the chaos of the world. Highly recommend! We will definitely visit again in the future.
