Private, spacious, dog friendly
We couldn’t recommend this site more. It’s exactly as described by the host and a little bit better. Plenty of room for our dog to run around off lease. Rhonda was friendly, provided firewood and made us feel perfectly welcome. She even provided us with a second fire pit so we could have a clear view of the Aurora borealis if it showed up.
What an epic spot… Despite houses in pharmacy near it felt completely private. Like my own little piece of land land!
Rhonda met me on my arrival-she was so generous It was like meeting up with an old friend… And I’m one of those people that kind of gets weird about meeting people when I show up on their property. Totally smooth with Rhonda!
The perfect retreat
Peaceful, breathtaking view, zero disturbance. The river is the perfect place to be. Plenty of space to yourself. Tucked away in the back of the property. They provide a hammock, chairs, and a for pit right in the river bank. We saved this stay to our favorites and will be back.
Beautifl, relaxing and private
As a first timer to camping at someones property we didnt know what to expect. What we found was that this experience was alot like regular camping except on a much larger privacy scale. With more personal touches. That being said it was nice having the space within 5 feet of a creek watching the humpies going up stream. With no other campers in site. Privacy was amazing, Ronda was informative, responsive and very friendly and a GREAT HOST. Brought us wood when she came to greet us, Hammock right on the creek was a selling point for me. A really unique restaurant off the beaten path within walking distance is a must try. We will most certainly be back.
So happy we stayed here!
We had a wonderful time at Creek Side! Our host, Rhonda was super welcoming, friendly, and gracious. The campsite was well taken care of and supplied with picnic table, fire pit (though burn ban meant we didn't use it), and hammock. We were easily able to get our 35 ft fifth wheel into the site. It's close to the Whitehorse Trail which is great if you like to bike, run, or walk. We were able to ride our bikes directly there from the site and one could easily run or walk to it as well. The horses and surroundings, including the babbling sound of the creek, make for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend.
One-of-a-kind riverside campsite!
What a relaxing place to just get away from it all; your own private oasis along the Stillaguamish River! So nice to have the campsite ALL to yourself, with nice little touches like citronella Tiki lights, scattered solar ground lighting, a fire ring, portable biffy (an appropriate distance away) trash receptacle, and even a hammock! Rhonda was a gracious host and went the extra mile to make us comfortable.
Peaceful and scenic camping
This was an amazing spot. Rhonda met us on arrival to make sure we were happy. The location is peaceful, quiet and scenic - and just a short drive from the Seattle area. We were only staying one night, so booked dinner at Rhodes River Ranch, which was a very unique and enjoyable experience. The Oso memorial is very moving and should not be missed. We are looking forward to completing the entire Whitehorse Trail in the future. This is an awesome campsite with a wonderful host - and one we will be returning to.,
