An expanding Cattle Ranch in progress.///Pigs, Chickens. Fruit, vegetables, hops, wineries, hiking,  casino, and fishing nearby. Mostly a quiet working ranch. Water Irrigation runs throughout the night at times with a low pump hum.

Site #2 is the only Travel Trailer / RV with water and power. (Will not run an A/C. Only 20 Amp and currently shared with Site #1 Currently not listed.) Small Tent location by the pond also.

Site #3 is currently a separate listing under Greenhouse

Additional tent or car camping or RV / Travel Trailer at sites #4 and #5 ,Left and Right of the red hangar. Extension cord power available but No Water.

Site #4 is on the gravel right of the Checkerboard pavement between the Runway and the Hangar. Set your tents up in the grass on the inactive runway and Bring your own SHADE if desired.

Site 5 Currently has the only access to the beach on the pond due to  COVID19 Social Distancing. It has the best shade and sand beach area with fire pit.

Site 6 is more private yet primitive on the back side of the hill. Site 6 has great shade in the afternoon evening. If site #2 is occupied our ability to drive into #6 will be hampered but you can still cart or carry your items to camp, this isn't a far walk.

There is space for multiple tents at each location.  VEHICLE OR RV PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON THE GRAVEL PORTIONS OF THE PROPERTY ONLY. The power hook ups are located near #2. No 40 Amp service for A/C yet.  Often times I have an extension cord run from the hangar for phone charging at sites 4/5.   Great views of Mt. Adams from the runway or beach area.

There is plenty of room at the property and can accommodate large groups. Prices will vary depending on your needs. Estimated at $45 per 8 people.  PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE on any of the GRASS as your vehicle will leave imprints and potentially destroy sprinklers. Thank you!

This is also my Dogs Property and he is not leashed as he is usually my Shadow. There are also neighbor dogs that often times escape and come visit that I have little control over. But they are friendly just notify us and we will do our best to correct. If you are afraid of dogs, this is likely not the place for you.

If you wish to specifically reserve the grass runway for Soccer, Volleyball, Football, etc please reserve site #4 and request the runway for your event. $30 / 5 guests plus $5 per additional guest.  Stay the night by tenting on the runway or use it until dusk. At this time bring your own equipment, nets, etc. The runway is 100' wide. I can mow it tight with prior arrangements and we'll make it happen!

Great stop on the way to Hanford Reach National Monument.

Easy to find and access.

We were there only for the night in a camper van so we didn't use the restrooms. There was a faucet and electricity (standard outlet) on our spot #2. The spot had fairly level gravel and backed to a barbed wire fenced field.

We were welcomed by a friendly dog Shadow who followed us around most of the time, probably because we were the only ones that night. He was well behaved and didn't get into our van nor begged for food while we ate at the picnic table.

All communication with our host Steven was over text messages. Efficient and quick.

There was some road noise, but nothing that bothered us that evening. It got louder the next morning, though. So sensitive sleepers in a tent might want to bring plugs.

I would use it again for a quick place to sleep on a longer road trip, and might consider it even as a base for a couple of days to explore the area next time.

For t-mobile customers: we had great reception here.

Got in around 9pm. Beautiful property. Perfect camp site behind a cluster of trees so almost all private give or take a few cows watching you. The other sites were around a pond area but we like to feel like we are only ones outside so site 6 was perfect. Bathrooms, firewood and a super nice host all included. Would most def recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Site 5 was beautiful and private, and in general the camp was clean and quiet. The amenities were great and the place was easy to find. You can tell the host really cares and put in effort to make a great camp site.

The pond at Steves Ranch was picturesque. Steve was a great host with a wonderful dog named Shadow who helped show us around the property. Very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell that Steve takes good care of his land. wide open spaces, yet each site seems to have its own privacy. Just outside of Yakima, and when driving through the town of Union Gap, make sure to stop at Los Hernandez Tamales.

Great location especially the back spot for privacy and some shade. Host is great at communicating and was helpful when I hade some car issues. We will stay there again for sure. Also note it's close to many wineries.

Sleeping under the trees by the pond in spot #5 was magical. The drive to the location included lots of apple trees. The grounds and my spot were well-kept, and other than the sound of water by the pond and the breeze in the trees, it was quiet with minimal noise from the road. The view of Mt Rainier and the lights strung in the trees were beautiful! My host Steven and his dog Shadow were friendly, and the vibe was really casual. There's now a toilet and hand sink option, not just outhouses. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

Camping spot #5 by the pond and old runway. The trees provide great shade!Looking west from the trees at #5
