We absolutely loved this site and would stay again but some notes to improve the stay; a large dumpster for trash and notes to encourage campers to consistently utilize it before leaving camp.
We loved the animals, especially our kiddos but on our first day out exploring did not expect to come back to our site with trash everywhere. They had ripped open our zipped and secure trash bin as well as one of our neighbors

Overall this was a great last minute option to camp in the area when official campgrounds are full - although a bit too expensive for what you get. It was mostly quiet and beautiful. Site to site, things vary widely and your experience will be different depending on the site you procure. There were many loose animals wandering around that were quite cute, but also pretty disruptive (especially when making food). Overall, it would have been ideal to not have dogs, cats, and pigs roaming around freely. Noticed some other campers having issues with the pets they brought along camping, even while leashed. Lastly, the toilet paper wasn’t restocked often enough in the two provided portos and ran out by end of the weekend. Still might stay again, but think some small improvements could be made to improve the value/cost ratio.

This was our first time using HipCamp. The site is in a good location close to Rialto Beach, and we were able to get a large, fairly private site with a picnic table but some sites were very small and didn't have picnic tables or even much space for a tent. Sites are first come first served so try to arrive early. The pigs were a great source of entertainment, but overall I felt the site was expensive for what we got- no running water or trash provided and the Porta Potties got kind of gross by the end of the weekend.

The campsite is lovely, and though we were fairly close to the other campsites it felt private because of the bushes around. Zeus the orange cat was a delight!

Overall we like this place. Unfortunately their animals (1 cat, 2 dogs, and 4 pigs) that kept coming into our camp site. I love animals, but they kept getting into our garbage. We had to constantly shoo them away. To much work when all you want to do is relax.

If you’re looking for a an easy place to pull up for a night - this is it! The grounds were clean and easy to pull in & find a spot. You can pick a spot more secluded in the woods or more open for Star gazing. In the morning there were piggies roaming around and were fun to watch. ( per management don’t touch)
The only thing that would make it better is if there was running water for washing hands etc. The honey buckets were full but fine to use.

Camping was great here, fairly quiet except for some kids with way too much energy early in the morning😅. There were pigs roaming around which was fun (they did get into someone’s trash). There was also a dog and cat walking around the site.

Overall we had a great experience! Very grateful for the opportunity to stay there. The campsites were first come first serve, where only a few of the sites had a picnic table. The sites were close together. Two portapotties for use. Pigs, kitten, and two dogs were free roaming. Expectation was that our dog stayed on leash. We did not know there were free roaming dogs, and one of the dogs ran up to our dog barking while our dog was on leash. We did not know who the dog belonged to for about an hour, and the dog was getting into our food and would not leave my dog alone. Thankfully my dog is not reactive on or off leash. We would recommend the owners improve the hipcamp description to include that visiting dogs must be friendly on leash, even when approached (barking+running) by the farm dogs. No trash or recycling. Easy to find when driving up, there is a big sign and flag to mark the campground turn-in.

Host was very responsive and informative.
No beach access from the campground, have to drive 4 miles.
It would have been a great stay had there not been loud unsupervised children running around into other people’s campsite - but that is not the fault of the camp. So I guess a perfect place to go for families.

This is our second time staying here and we really love the low key atmosphere that this place provides for our family. It is only a very short drive to Rialto and there is plenty of space for other campers to enjoy their own privacy. We will be back again! Thank you!

After reading what to expect I would say this place is great. That being said, be aware the dogs and animals that live here will be hanging out with you! The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall happy with our stay 🙃

We loved this site!! Only got to stay a night but wish we could stay longer! Definitely try to get here soon after the check in time to secure a site since they are first come first serve. Owner has two dogs, 3 adorable little piglets, and a friendly orange cat all roaming around, plus more farm animals in pens. Porta pottys there were pretty well kept and the whole site was well taken care of. Also big grassy area to play/ chill in. Definitely recommend especially for families:)

I had such a beautiful, large and secluded site. The trees are huge, and a sense of being on the Olympic Peninsula is realized.
Great location. Close to the NP beaches and the town of Forks.

The bad: We reached there in the evening and most of the good campsites were already taken. Our campsite did not have a picnic table. Some of the fellow campers were shouting and frolicking well past midnight which made it difficult for us to sleep.
The good: The facility itself was nice and secluded. The open grassland is fantastic for kids/adults to play with. the host allowed us to cook with a gas stove. She pointed us to running water tap - which was nice. The night sky was just spectacular. i would revisit this facility just for that. I would probably visit early and find myself a nice spot though.

There is an amazing, little fiery, lightening fast climber named Zeus the cat that lives there. He was such gentleman when he visited my campsite and brought so much joy. There is such a variation in different kinds of campsites and I was able to easy select the one that resonates most with me. There were two well clean port-a-potties that were lovely to use. All neighbors followed lights and sound out by 11 pm which I appreciated on my early morning runs.

The campground had a number of inviting sites and a nice big green area where piglets roamed in the late afternoon. The two portaloos were fairly clean but hadn’t been emptied in a while and one had no hand sanitiser.
The check in process was confusing as on the HipCamp listing it said that sites were allocated based on individual needs, but it’s actually first come first served which fortunately worked out fine for us as we were early, but might not if you read that then arrive later with a larger vehicle or personal needs. I did message Natalie to clear this up and she was responsive, but the wording is still on the page at the time of writing.
The location was great and just a short drive to Rialto Beach and it was fairly peaceful apart from the vocal animals early in the morning.
It said online that there were bins for garbage but myself and other campers I spoke to couldn’t find them. There was a small white container by the toilet which was on its side with garbage all over the floor so perhaps it was that (?) but if it was it wasn’t very large or secure.
Overall our stay was okay and the issues we had were only minor, but probably enough that we would stay somewhere else if visiting the area again.

The good: Cute pigs rooting around the campground. A big open field, with campsites around the woody edges.
The bad: Our site did not have a picnic table, just a stump and a bench that was not sturdy. This made it very hard to cook and eat. There was only porta potties. The water was a walk away up by the main house.
In this case, the bad outweighs the good for us. We would not stay again.

Our family had a great stay on Natalie’s land.
The campsites were clearly marked with plenty of personal space. Not as cramped as Mora or some other campgrounds.
We enjoyed the farm animals, although the mama pig wore out her welcome when it came to respecting our campsite; it got a little annoying while cooking; but it entertained our kids.
We were probably the loudest campers; our 7 year old is autistic and was struggling to calm down for bed.
Other than us, camp was pretty quiet after dark and we slept well.

Very clean neat sites and the camp hosts were very nice and helpful. Very convenient location near the ocean and general store. Best of all we're three little piglets got out omg so cute!!!

Nice little space in convenient location. Very unclear how to pick a site. Another couple arrived after me called and we were told to pick whatever site. Having the pigs wander through randomly was interesting. Portapotty was getting kinda gross.

Prior Homestead is a very spacious location, with potable water available and many campsites to choose from. The little farm is charming and the tiny piggies (a family of ~7 when i was there) that roam around and visit are absolutely lovely. I will use this spot again when i return and recommend it to all.

It was so fun to see the little pigs running around- they are so cute! Make sure no food or food containers are at their level!!! We had no issues, but other people did. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Natalie!
