The property is a short drive from Seattle and I like to get out of the rain in the winter. This side of the cascades is dry, sunny and cold in December and there is wind which I like. Ellensburg is a University town surrounded by farmland. The downtown is quite nice, has many places to eat with a pretty sophisticated Gastronomie for Eastern WA. The downtown has nice shops.

The camping spot is just 15 minutes out of town on the outskirts in farmland. It has a nice Westward exposure. They have 30amp hookup and water which is nice and there is a dump station run by the town water waste close by. One of the better I’ve used.

Thank you Peter. You were a very quiet guess not even my dogs barked at you. Lol. Nice pics! Glad the eagles came out to eat.

Perfect spot for a quick stopover on my trip from Seattle to Idaho. Lecia was very welcoming, and helped direct me down the last stretch of road when my GPS couldn't figure it out. I would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what we had hoped. Friendly host, her dogs are a blast. Nice quiet field where our dogs could run and play. A bit cloudy on our stay but still great stargazing to the west

You and your family plus doggo kids were such a pleasure. So happy you had a good lay over and enjoyed your anniversary in Wenatchee/Leavenworth.

Lecia's place was indeed beautiful pasture land surrounded by mountains. Gorgeous view. We stayed there in our camper -- happened to camp during a wind storm (which Lecia warned us about before booking). Since we were in a hard-sided camper, it was totally fine. My dog thoroughly enjoyed playing with her two friendly pups. Thanks for the great stay, Lecia.

It was a pleasure hosting you. Glad our dogs liked one another; although mine liked yours too much as he kept standing at your door. Lol. Glad your camper passed the wind test.

I needed a safe and quiet place to pull over and spend the night. Lecia's place was perfect. It was easy to find. I slept like a rock. I was up and out on the road the next morning. Easy peasy.

A no frills, very quiet residential area. Good spot for cold camp. Very windy here but not too dusty. Very nice views over cattle pasture to see the wind turbines at work.

What a fantastic host! We stayed here during the rodeo and were so pleased to find a safe place to stay. The stars were amazing and we had such fun visiting with the host, her daughter and the pups. Looking forward to another visit soon!

We stayed for one night to visit a show at the Gorge Amphitheater which is an hour away. Lecia is a nice host. Plenty of space to set up camp!
