Description

Surrounded by the lush foliage of the forest, we recommend taking a soak in the West Fork Methow River after a brisk hike along the Robinson Creek Trail or the Lost River/Monument Creek Trail. With prime placement next to the Pasayten Wilderness, there is plenty of rugged beauty to indulge in. If you are down to sweat a bit, give yourself time to dig into the wooded trails at nearby Ballard Campground. Or if you prefer relaxation, grab your fishing pole and kick back by the cool river as you work your magic on your unsuspecting dinner.

Way off the beaten path but worth the free retreat if driving through Mazama/Winthrop area. Great view of the valley further up the road and trail looking south.
