This is our second time staying here and it won’t be the last. Great campsites, private and with close access to a creek. The outhouses are spotless and the hosts are great to work with. You can purchase firewood from them and they have drinking water available. This is a great place to disconnect.

Nature Camp is beautiful, and so thoughtfully created and cared for by the hosts. Each site has plenty of privacy. We stayed in #3, which was large, probably comfortable for a max of 3 tents. I loved that we could drive our truck into the site and have easy access to it. I might recommend staying in one of the sites back by the creek though, numbers 1, 4, or 6- the reason being the highway noise. We could definitely hear traffic at our site, but I bet it might be quieter in those. Can't drive you car up to them though, have to park and haul your things to the sites. Not a problem for most people I think, and likely worth it if you're wanting more of a secluded nature feel. There are no bad sites here, at all. The outhouses are so clean and pleasant, way more so than many standard camp bathrooms. Fresh water was provided. Firewood was available. I loved the large, deep fire pit with stumps as well. Pretty, shaded paths to enjoy. The farm animals are adorable! Minor highway noise aside, this place is lovely, and I recommend it!

This was my first hipcamp stay, and Valisha & Michael set a very high bar!!

Everything I read in other reviews proved true - the land is magical with majestic trees, a peaceful creek, and lots of birds. Valisha welcomed me right when I arrived, and she and her family were genuinely kind. They have done a lovely job with the campsites (beautiful picnic tables, signs made from tree trunk cross-sections, everything well marked but in a way that blends in nicely with the forest, etc), and there is a nice trail to get down to the walk-in sites. Like everyone else who has written reviews, I too loved campsite 4! Everything was very clean, and the composting toilet really was as great as everyone says!

The one thing I'd say to be aware of is that some of the campsites are in pretty close proximity, so please be courteous to your neighbors about your noise level, especially when it gets late. (I didn't notify the hosts about some late night socializing at the adjacent campsite that kept me up later than I wanted one night, but I know they would have addressed it if I had!). Also good to know is that you can hear some intermittent vehicle noise from the roads, but for me this was a very small tradeoff for the convenience of being able to easily drive here in an hour. And there was plenty of birdsong to offset it.

Overall this is a beautiful place to be in nature, and a place that is well cared for by kind people. If you are looking for a peaceful place to connect with nature, you should book a stay here. I'm looking forward to visiting again - thank you so much, Valisha & Michael!

A truly wonderful place! We've stayed here twice this summer—once in site #5 and again in site #6. The entire property is very well maintained and quite beautiful. The walk-in sites are definitely my preference because they offer more privacy. Site #6 being so close to the water made for very peaceful nights falling asleep to the sound of the creek. It was a real joy to wake up early and sit next to the creek with my coffee and watch the kingfishers and herons go about their business.

Do take the time to say hi and chat with the owners. They are very kind and work hard to maintain the land for our enjoyment. In addition to the land itself, access to firewood, drinking water, and the "Best Outhouse in the West" make this place a real delight—I almost don't want to tell you about it :)

It was a very pleasant place to stay and very well maintained grounds. The hosts were super nice and very helpful and responsive. They obviously care about keeping the space clean and safe and fun and functional. Our campsite was a great spot for us. The outhouse was one of the nicest I have ever encountered. We really enjoyed spending time at the creek and also visiting with the farm animals. Overall just a really sweet spot

Our stay at Nature Camp was absolutely amazing. Campsite #5 was one of the cleanest we've ever encountered, and plenty large for our family of four with one big tent (2 – 3 other tents would've also fit just fine). The ability to use the deep fire ring (and bundles of wood delivered directly to our site) was unexpected and lovely. The camp hosts are very friendly and kind and were equally happy to share a little about their journey as they were to have conversations with our 11 and 13 year old. Two very well appointed and cared for compostable toilets made the experience complete. We took a day trip to Yacolt Falls — also highly recommended! Please enjoy this place but don't tell too many people so there will be room for us again down the road! We hope to try the glamping cabin one day, too.
