A very nice campground. Very well kept. Dan and Maggie were very accommodating and kind. It's great that you can drive towards the river and the loop trail around the campsite is very beautiful. Will definitely be back again!

Super clean and open sites in a beautiful location on the Hoh River and right off of 101. Easy to visit Kalaloch and Hoh Rainforest from here. We loved staying at site 4. Plenty of room, beautiful details, nice table and firepit. Toilets immaculate! Dan and Maggie were super friendly and helpful!

This was my 2nd time staying at Dan & Maggie's Hipcamp, and I love it for our Basecamp while exploring the area. The port-a-potties are clean, the sites are very well maintained, and no where near as overrun as Park campgrounds. The trail over to the river is amazing, and the sound of the birds and frogs are beautiful. Great, safe!, place for families and those looking for a quieter experience. 10 stars!

Dan & Maggie have done an incredible job of creating wonderful campsites that accommodate both tent camping and RV'S. The sites are level, with crushed gravel to ensure minimal mud and puddles when it rains. Each site has a large picnic table that can probably seat 8 people no problem.

We knew that there would be rain. It is a RAINforest! We did not know it would be proper rain, not the misty, mystical stuff. If you come prepared, (and the site next to us most certainly did not), then you should be fine. The site is tucked away from the main road behind a locked gate. We stayed in site #4, directly across from site #5, and it was a lovely little spot.

(If you are considering this location, we took a short walk and decided that site #1 was our favorite.)

We set up a few shelter areas and somehow got a fire started every night, despite the rain. The best part about the rain was the sound as we fell asleep at night. So peaceful. The walk to the river was very worth it. A majestic setting! We appreciated the clean outhouses also!

All in all, if you are looking for an authentic rainforest camping experience, this location will be perfect!
