John has created a beautiful camping area with lots of attention to the little details. The two story fort was fun and had lots of camping related supplies. The provided chairs and tables really helped out. There was plenty of room for our extended family. People were very pleased with the cute little outhouse. The night sky is wonderful and has very little light pollution except for one farm house just west (maybe John can talk them into putting a one sided shield on it or turn it off after a certain hour). We also enjoyed the little towns in the area and the nearby lakes. Rosalia is very close and we enjoyed some shopping and good food & drink there! St. John's is not all that far away and it has a lot to offer for such a remote little town! John was very supportive and friendly to work with!
Beautiful property that was perfect for a Easter egg hunt for kids and dogs had a blast running around off leash. The property was clean and ready as promised.
This place is a fantastic way to get away from society with out really being all that cut off. Easy to follow directions and plenty of landmarks as a guide. There’s a nearby small town that can supply most any last minute needs. As for the site, it did not disappoint. There were no lofty promises of amenities that weren’t there, and everything was exactly as described. Pictures on websites were accurate. Unlimited firewood was wonderful when the sun went down. The site offers fantastic star filled nights, far away from the light pollution of big cities. There was an abundance room to play around on the grounds for any and all activities. The adjacent slow moving river was pleasant to look at, and the upstream flowing creek provided a pleasing place for a toe dip on a hot day. As for the host, he couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating., John was full of local knowledge about the surrounding areas if you’re looking for other activities. He also provided us with potable water and water to extinguish the campfire. We had an
Absolute blast and would 100% do it again.

We loved Manville! John and his wife were great hosts and started a big fire in the pit for us after bringing over a ton of fresh water. It was the perfect campground for our group to relax, play frisbee, stroll around and eat by the fire. Even with a surprise lightning rain storm, we were able to get enough cover under the lookout and thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay!
We were so pleased with our stay at Manville. The grounds are Immaculately melt, the little our house is so cute. Nicest out house I’ve been in. Not gross. Normal toilet seat. 👍🏻 I was pleasantly surprised with that.
The host provided ample firewood and some fresh water. Chairs. A few tables. It was amazing!! Made the trip so easy.
The little creek on the property is small, but it didn’t stop us from having a water fight to cool off when it was high 80’s one day.
We’ve never had an entire camp are to ourselves! Zero other campers other than our party. Total privacy. Feels like it’s just you and the rolling fields!
An added bonus... we heard some coyotes singing in the distance! So cool!

John is an amazing host and we love visiting Manville. There’s so much room for the kids and the dog to run around and be free. The kids especially like playing in what they call the lagoon, a.k.a. the creek. We will definitely be back again. I would recommend this location.
We had an amazing weekend. Manville is quiet, secluded and spacious. The kids loved exploring the creek. Our host, John was great. We will definitely be back again.
John was a great host. The field is amazing and had plenty of room for four legged friends to run.

What a wonderful space! Very quiet, and the host is quite kind. Will be going back!
