Places to see near Lisa G.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The place was peaceful and quiet, a nice piece of land and a great location. There is a lake across the street and a nearby stream which our family loved to visit. The property was a good value. The grounds could have been a little tidier, aside from that, this was a nice stop before our trip into the North Cascades.
Sorry, I’m still traveling since, but my stay was great, Lisa took the time to take to the river, ee almost missed it, that was a big plus, she told me about the improvement they’re planning, so I’ll be back 🙂
The spot was great - right by the river for easy floating, which was perfect and amazing! And we saw a bald eagle hanging by the river too. Host was very responsive and made us feel welcome. Our issue was proximity to a wedding venue. You can’t see it from the camping spot but you can sure hear it. We stayed Fri-Sat and were treated to a bad wedding playlist most of Saturday (started around 2pm and went til 9/10pm). Couldn’t listen to our own music to drown it out, as it was just too loud. We just went with it and tried to not let it bother us - nothing to be done - but if you are looking for quiet, might not be the best spot!
Easy, relaxing, gorgeous setting
Lisa was very communicative. We had a car issue and needed a tow while on our way, Lisa offered to help when I explained, very kind offer. We didn’t end up needing the help.... We had a late arrival and she gave us detailed and clear directions. I think we may have been the first campers in a while, as the grass was quite long. But it served the purpose! There is no toilet, which is fine as we were the only campers and were able to privately take care of our business in the foliage away from the river... had there been more campers I would not have been comfortable.
Overall lovely spot to sleep and wake up for coffee by the river.
Beautiful riverfront campsite
Place was hard to find thanks to the GPS and definately pay attention to the emails it is the only way to get a physical address. upon arrival we were supposed to call and someone was supposed to meet us but the host was in town shopping.(no biggie) we were told to go ahead and find a spot at the end of the property. we went down and got all set up right on the river. the spot is beautiful and kind of secluded definately was a good experience. beautiful place with lots of wildlife to enjoy. never saw a single person the whole time we camped wich is ok with us.lol i would definately stay here again.
