Fairy tale at fox camp
Fox Camp is fairy tale like. Mossy evergreen trees, a large pond to paddle on, a rope swing to pretend you’re Tarzan…
Easy to find, super super clean, and very generous!!
My sons first camping trip was a success, thank you!! Highly recommend. Absolutely beautiful.
Larry was very helpful and responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay. The site is near a pond which we enjoyed watching birds (kingfishers and herons and more!) and the calm atmosphere of the neighborhood. It was a great stay and not too far from Seattle for a weekend get-away.
Larry is a great host, we were traveling with our two year old and arrived late at Fox Camp, Larry was kind to meet us at the gate show us to our spot and even helped.
Fox Camp is a hidden gem that sits against the background of a pond, we cannot recommend it enough. The only thing that you should be aware is that there are a few camping spots, good news though, Larry is in the process of expanding and adding additional spots.
I took my daughter to Fox camp over the weekend and we had an awesome time. The site was clean and idyllic next to a pond with tree coverings a few steps away. There’s a nice long bench and umbrella and a fire pit at the site. Larry was also nice enough to provide us with firewood. It was quiet at night with just the sounds of the frogs in the pond.
What a great camp site! Conveniently located near Bellingham but off the roads enough to feel remote. Larry was a welcoming and attentive host and made sure we were all set upon arrival.
The facilities are also nice, with picnic table with an umbrella and lighting, a fire pit, a honey bucket, a solar shower and some boats to go out on the pond.
The two sites are far enough from each other to feel private even though they are visible across the small field. As long as the neighbors are quiet as ours were you won't even think about them. I've definitely camped at state campgrounds which put you *much* closer together.
We would come back again for sure.
Location was very convenient and easy to find. Campsite was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. Host was very friendly, checked in on us and made sure we had enough dry firewood throughout our rainy weekend.
