Places to see near Kevin E.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our campsite at Camp Koinonia was very well organized and upkeep. We were given a site with power and electricity which was a bonus to us. The site has a public shower and bathroom which were extraordinarily clean. The staffs were welcoming and helpful whenever we had any questions.
Although my wife and I did not use any of the on-site recreational facilities, the other guests seemed to be enjoying them. There are on-site swimming pool with life guard, archery range, fishing/kayaking pond and a communal fire pit all within the camp. This site would be great for both kids and parents, we will be coming back in the future.
Quiet midweek family tent camping
The land is beautiful. Kevin was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. We wanted a more private area to set up the tent so we went to the “woods”. There are many sites available in both the woods and the main area that are nice and spread out. There wasn’t a table or fire ring set up so the hosts brought both to us. Kevin has propane fire pits for rent and firewood for sale. There are snacks available to purchase and many summer-camp type activities. It’s our understanding that the property hosts retreats and youth groups mainly, but due to COVID-19 that activity is not occurring at this time. Many of the sites have water and or power available. We chose one without water so we walked a short distance for our cooking and cleaning water. We did not try the power. Consider bringing a stove if you are not comfortable cooking on a campfire. We have young children and we appreciated all the trails around the property. Kevin was quick to recommend other hikes nearby for those seeking a challenge. As many berries are currently in season people with young children should be sure to explain about not eating wild plants. We had a great time and hope to return soon.
This is a kids summer camp opened for public this year and is the best campground I’ve ever stayed at! The main bathrooms are sparkling clean!! There’s hot shower! Concession stand with firewood/propane/snacks. There is Burn exemption for the site! There are activities on the weekends that you can join- wish I knew before coming so I could squeeze into my schedule! Swimming pool, basketball court 🔥 Location is great, central to Kachess, Snoqualmie pass, and the gorge. There is no dedicated space assigned for your reservation but Kevin will help find a site during check in, ensure you have the correct number of people in hipcamp before coming. My tent site was private, some even has water and power hookups. Hope this site is open for public again for next year!
What a great campground. I was mostly in and out real quick but I’ll definitely be back, this was super convenient as a base camp for my weekend. Kevin was very welcoming and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Great spot to camp!
This was a great place to camp! There was an RV park and the "boonies", which is where we decided to camp. Spots were very far apart, in the forest, and a short walk to a bathroom. Our host, Kevin, was friendly, and dropped off a small gas-lit fire stove at our site, which very much improved our rainy stay. We hope to come back again for archery!
Short stay here, just one night, but no complaints. Easy directions, called the host when I arrived, and was shown to a campsite by one of the employees. Wish I could have spent more time here, looks like there were plenty of fun things to do.
