Humbug Ranch

We enjoyed staying at humbug ranch. Lots of amenities including a mini-fridge, a very clean lit-up portapotty, picnic table, nice fire pit w/wood for $5 and outlets! They put a lot of thought and care into the camp site. It's a big space with a lovely clearing to look at the stars. Its close to Roslyn and easy to find.

I've camped here a few times and I love it more with each stay. It's perfect - super clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. So close to Roslyn, which is always a treat.

Humbug Ranch is a gem! It is a well thought out site that is maintained very nicely. We appreciated the ease of access, the privacy (no other campers in sight), the ammenities (electricity, fire pit, wood bundles, picnick table, etc.). The shed was great too! We brought our trailer, but the extra indoor space & clean outhouse allowed our guest to camp comfortably w us. We wlso saw 2 deer in the woods behind the shed. The meadow was a great spot for tossing a football & frisbee. The elevation (~2,100’) allowed for good weather as many higher elevation sites are still muddy this rainy season. It is also great to be able to reserve a site as many non hipcamp options are first come first serve. James is an excellent host & Humbug Ranch is a beautiful forested site.

This is our second stay here and we’ll be back again. The property is well set up with a little cabin, RV parking, portapotty and fire pit. We love the privacy and location of this property and James is a great host

What an incredible camping destination! Best Hipcamp we've stayed a yet. Spent 2 nights in early May, and even though we had unseasonable wet and cold weather, the facilities made it both comfortable and enjoyable. Jim, the host, has thought of everything and provided great communication throughout. The "cabin" has a pullout bed, electric heater and other amenities that provide the option of true "glamping", if so desired, and yet the tent area (we set us and used our teepee hot tent) worked great, along with a lovely firepit and provided firewood, if desired, for $5 a bundle. Perhaps most refreshing was the VERY clean port-a-potty. Highly recommend! We'll certainly be back soon.

The host thought of everything! Great getaway! I'll definitely be coming back!

This was a last minute adventure for a relaxing night in the woods and wow we were so glad we did. James is a fabulous host and how her stay was magnificent he had Wood for the campfire ready to go and was a great communicator. We will definitely be booking our next visit soon.

This is my second stay with James and won’t be my last. He is very responsive, has an awesome setup and even provide good wood for the fire. Super nice guy, great setup for an escape from Seattle (and of course anywhere else)
