Our Hillside campsites have no vehicle access. These sites are not ideal for children. More suited for those who like to hike to their site. Although you can hike up the hill, you don't have to. We can haul your gear up to your site using our quad and trailer. The Hillside is above and behind the ranch, which overlooks the property. This may be ideal for you if you don't mind sleeping while horses roam the Hillside. Keep-in-mind, running water and the bathrooms are only at the barn. No picnic tables on the Hillside. This is a wonderful place to get away for peace and quiet and being above the property is truly a paradise. You will also have access to the ranch where you'll probably meet some wonderful animals such as a dog, cat, pet pigs, chickens and of course horses! While at the barns, you may enjoy a roaring fire at the communal fire-pit; marshmallows, cooking or stargazing. If needed, you also have access to a shared kitchen and shower. If you forget firewood, no worries, you can purchase it here on this site. We are more than happy to haul (using our quad) your camping gear and firewood up our 1000 foot hillside to your camping spot as long as we know in advance.

We had an amazing experience. We ended up camping in the car camping area, it was quite lovely. We rented a horse for the 3 days we camped for my nieces birthday. Michelle gave her the most amazing horse camping experience. Close to Portland and a beautiful drive. Hope to be back soon!

Hostess Michelle was perfect!
Their friendly communication and service made our family relaxed.
It is all thanks to you.

Michelle was a lovely host, and the property was beautiful! Lots of great facilities and lovely horses to visit with 🌸
Michelle and Gino were amazing! We stayed at the top of the hill and they brought our camping gear up for us using a trailer so that we didn’t have to make the hike with equipment over and over. They brought us plenty of fantastic firewood both nights and were just overall very accommodating. The animals on the farm were so friendly and well cared for, and the hillside area was far enough out that we felt really secluded. We will definitely be back!

Kameko, thank you for spending your weekend with us. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The horses love visitors.....please come again!!
I had a great time during my camping trip! What a wonderful place! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and the animals are lovely company! Such a treat to camp on the hillside with the horses. I will definitely be back!

Our family had such a fun time getting to know all the animals on Michelle's farm, and my two kids (7 and 9) had a wonderful session riding the horses Dottie and Gary. The site was gorgeous, and we had some fun encounters with roosters, potbelly pigs, and draft horses during the two nights we spent there. Michelle is so kind, and all staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating. The farm itself is less than 20 minutes away from Moulton Falls and Lucia Falls, and we enjoyed exploring during our stay as well. Highly recommend!

Great views, with lots of animals around, horses, chickens and pigs, amazing place. Host was mostly absent, the camp location we got had no picnic tables, firepit without grill, right next to smell of horses dump. Two honeybucksts for about 50 campers in middle of covid-19 outbreak left this place extremely filthy, we left a day early because we thought the place started stinking. I would not recommend this place due to how it is managed as opposed to what it could have been.

Dear Nilesh, When you reserved your camp spot, you chose our "Hillside" campsite. If you review the description of this campsite, first line states No Vehicle Access and Not Suited for Children, plus it mentions, no picnic table or porta-potty on the Hillside. You messaged me asking if you could drive to this site and I told you it was walk-in only. But, to accommodate you and your children, I mentioned that I have a site near our arena for people traveling with their horse which you agreed to use. This site is not on HipCamp. We had exactly 24 people that weekend and two port-a-potties, which are emptied weekly and other campers tell me they are amazingly clean. Because of Covid-19, we provide a sanitation station and are very conscientious of sanitation. I'm sorry you arrived late and my helper checked you in instead of me. I'm very present with the campers, the ranch and all the activities. I'm so sorry that you didn't have a memorable experience which we strive for with every camper. I wish you the best.
Horse Lovers Paradise truly was that. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and lots of animals throughout. I stayed on the hillside, which is perfect if you want privacy but don’t mind hiking uphill to your site. The view from the site was wonderful and I would have horses come say hi to me frequently. There’s bathrooms and shared kitchen just a walk down the hill away. Loved this place. Michelle and everyone working were helpful and friendly.

Site has an awesome view overlooking the horse farm! The hillside site is quite peaceful and secluded so it's really like camping in the woods. The horses graze right next to you, but give you plenty of space. Super cool experience. You do have to hike a bit to get to your car, but the host has a quad to shuttle all your gear to and from the site. Would definitely recommend!
