Words cannot express how incredible this camping spot is! A long drive through a winding canyon leads to seemingly endless peaceful fields. Eventually you arrive at the most incredible, breathtaking vista. The scenery abruptly goes from open fields to the top of a breathtaking canyon. Driving along the gravel track, the unbelievable scenery stretches as far as the eye can see.
We stayed at campsite 1, which had an absolutely stunning view of the town below, and the rugged landscape around. We didn't see another soul our entire stay, and enjoyed complete and total privacy.
Hans is a fantastic host, and was VERY accommodating to us. I could not recommend this camping location more!!!!!!

We had the best time tent camping on Hans property! We felt super safe but also like we were out in the wild too! We had a lovely fire and dinner at sunset and slept super comfortably. Hans was a great host, he checked on us via text which was great since you really are the only people out there! We will definitely be coming back to Earthlight Campground! We also had great cell service at the top of the mountain at the campsite which we were surprised to have!

Hans was very communicative from the get go. We reserved the Earth Light Campground 1. Beautiful views and overall area. Honestly loved the drive over to the campground as we passed through fields of green plants and even saw a deer majestically running through the fields during sunset. Lots of fun wild flowers and peaceful hills. A few things to note: the roads leading to the campground off the main road are non-paved with a lot of gravel of varying sizes. Hans has communicated that he is currently working on getting the roads more manageable. Also if you’re into flying drones, please be sure to keep drone activity on campground property only. A couple private(!) residents nearby communicated that they want their property be a drone free zone. Completely understandable!

We were some of the first people to stay on the property. Having 4wheel drive was a huge asset as we navigated the roads but once we made it to the site, we agreed that it was worth the effort. The views were spectacular and the privacy was wonderful.
We would stay here again.

My friends and I had a great experience camping here over Memorial Day weekend! The campsite was perfectly isolated, yet not far away from the town of Wenatchee, and had an amazing view!! Our sunsets were one of a kind. Hans was extremely helpful with all the pre-camping instructions and made sure we were set and comfortable. My boyfriend and I go to Wenatchee almost every season and I can't wait to camp here again!

This spot is absolutely stunning, the views are unparalleled. Hans gave accurate directions and information, we were even able to find it in the dark. He also sent information about what to do in the area and checked in to make sure we were ok. This area can be windy (the whole region) so we ended up utilizing our indoor kitchen and did not have a fire. You do need to travel some dirt and rocky roads with some grade changes to get there, an appropriate vehicle and trailer would be advised (I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and an 18 ft travel trailer with off road tires). If you have the right set up, you will be solo and experience the most magnificent views I've ever seen at a camp spot! We plan to try to visit again in the fall we enjoyed it so much.

This place is epic! The change in terrain from the high plains to the canyon is other worldly.
