We were under a time crunch to find someplace, and this sounded good. While the location wasn't really misrepresented, I was expecting something different. Unless you stay in the spot that's pretty open and next to a fairly busy road, the path to get to the other two sites is very steep (and still not far from the road). Road noise was a bit of a factor. We did not venture out to the nearby food places, but only passed a gas station/convenience store. I assume the other places were in the opposite direction. Definitely not walkable, as there was no sidewalk/room on either side of the road, and not safe. All in all, a decent spot to spend the night, but not necessarily what I was looking for in a camping spot. I take responsibility for my expectations vs. reality. I was just thinking something different, but as I said, nothing was misrepresented.
Campsite was close to a cute little sandwich shop with ice cream, pizza , sandwiches etc.
Pet friendly!
Bring some bug spray, as there is a tiny bit of running water you can hear nearby:)
Saw some deer too!
William was a great host, the location felt private, it was elevated in a forest view, electric, water, fire pit, picnic table, etc, made the site very comfortable for our 18ft A frame popup trailer.
