Pull your RV or trailer onto this lot and take in the beautiful southwestern view of Mt. Jupiter ridge and a peek-a-boo view of the Dosewallips River. Listen closely, and you will hear the sounds of the river below! The lot is equipped with power and water hookups! Enjoy the view from the large deck, firepit, or picnic table overlooking the river, valley, and mountains. Bring an 80 ft extension cord to use the deck lights. This lot is truly a little slice of heaven!
Within a few minutes, find yourself at Rocky Brook falls (see pics) for a spectacular view and even a swim if you so please! Pleasant Harbor Marina (also shown in pics) also within 10 minutes! You will also find many hiking trails and parks nearby! There is weak cell service on the lot, so you may or may not be able to connect. I get 1-2 bars with Sprint.
Other Notes: Reminder, there is no toilet, so you must have your own toilet to stay here. The property is not very far off the Dosewallips road (35 mph), it is generally very quiet and peaceful. You may hear cars and motorcycles from time to time, but very faintly. The lot is at about 350 ft. elevation, so you may get noise traveling up the valley from the residential community below (to which I belong), such as dogs, people using chainsaws, etc. There is hunting allowed in the national forest, so you could potentially hear guns in the distance during the day, but that is rare. I have a working trail camera facing out on the street for security purposes. The deck is very old and the posts are wobbly and not meant to be leaned upon, so please be very careful when using the deck.
There are a few close neighbors, so please be respectful and quiet, especially in the evening. Please keep all noise down after 10pm. Please bring your own firewood when campfires are allowed and please do not forage for firewood on or around the property. Please observe the local fire restrictions and bans, even if this listing is not currently updated. Lastly, while the sightings have been few and rare, the neighbors have seen bears, cougars, coyotes, and bobcats near their homes and this property. So keep an eye on your children and pets, especially if off-leash (your pet of course!) The property also slopes a bit where the deck starts, so again, keep a close eye on the kiddos. You have a very good chance of seeing the local Roosevelt Elk that travel in huge herds around Brinnon. They sometimes lay down and hang out on the grass on the property!

Well cared for site off the beaten path. Peaceful quiet spot
Beautiful vista, wonderful private setting all with the comforts of water and electric hook ups! We really enjoyed the butterfly and bird visitors too.
Our favorite Hipcamp yet!! So beautiful and private. The spot was kept very clean. We already want to plan our next trip here!
Absolutely stunning view! You are all alone on a dead end road with a locked gate, an awesome deck, hook ups, party string lights, & a view of mountains and a river! If you haven’t booked this location- DO IT NOW! It was also very quiet!

My friend and I camped out at at this property during a road trip around the Olympic Peninsula, and what a beautiful evening we had. Secluded AND scenic, this hipcamp site offers a quiet, peaceful experience (with an AMAZING view) and is in proximity to the wonder of Olympic National Park and Dosewallips State Park.
The property itself is off of a Forest Service Road, and though you are near the conveniences of Brinnon, you very much feel the spaciousness of solitude - we hardly heard any noise outside of the roar of the nearby Dosewallips River. There was plenty of flat ground to set up our tent, and we loved the picnic table for food prepping, and of course, the lit balcony for star-gazing. We brought our own firewood and enjoyed a post-dinner fire as well. In the morning, I enjoyed a 4 mile out and back run on the Forest Road that this property sits on - I didn't see a single soul (a treat when running on gravel).
Communication with William was easy and friendly. He kindly provided recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries before our trip, and ensured we had everything we needed while also giving us the space to enjoy our experience.
I highly recommend this site for campers and RVers alike! A gem on the Olympic Peninsula.

My husband and I loved this spot. Easy to get to, no problems backing in the RV and setting up. The views are spectacular and we loved getting out on the forest service trails. We will for sure book again. William was always quick to respond during conversation.
This is a super cool spot. The deck looks over the whole valley and it is absolutely beautiful. The road is paved all the way to the entrance and it has plenty of space for a big motorhome or trailer. The communication that I had with the host was fantastic and it was a breeze getting there. I would strongly recommend the spot and we will definitely be back in the future.

Thank you Hayes! I am so happy you all had a nice time! Hope to see you again!
The site is very private and peaceful with a great view. It is very close to a network of forest roads that were really fun to explore by motorcycle.

Prime location!! My fiance and I will definitely be back. We felt safe, secure and instructions and communication were impeccable! Definitely planning on coming back! Also, we ended up running out of propane while there and a friendly neighbor we met at the gas station hooked us up with a tank for the night! Great community but privacy all in one!

Thank you so much for the kind words and we look forward to having you back! So glad you were able to get fuel that night!
