Wonderful, peaceful stay! Nice quiet pasture lined by lovely trees. Potable water and extension cord were a plus. To get to the (optional, fee) beach, it’s about a ten minute walk and then through host’s backyard. Using host’s kayaks was a blast. Bring water shoes, walking on barnacles is rough.
Great space for our family to relax. Kids loved picking berries and combing the beach at low tide. This was our favorite HipCamp experience of the summer!
This spot was perfect! I needed somewhere to park my truck camper so I could work remotely for a few days, and the pasture was quiet, very private and had good signal for my hotspot. There’s a power outlet cord too so I was able to recharge each day, and a hose so I could fill up my water jug which is going to last me for a few weeks now as I continue on my trip. I loved hearing the horses neighing next door, and I picked blackberries from the patch on the pasture. I got the beach access which was definitely the coolest part, it’s basically a private beach and it was warm enough to swim! Don warned me I might meet a seal or sea lion so I didn’t go out too far, but after swimming when I got back to the beach I did see a seal swim by which was pretty neat! There is a grocery store, gas station, etc a short drive away in the little town as well. Great stay, exactly what I needed. Thanks Don!
Gorgeous property, very private and peaceful. Don is friendly and helpful. We opted to walk along the rocky beach- highly recommend it, next time we'll take the kayaks out!
Don is a great host! Very helpful and responsive and friendly. The property is a nice wooded 10 acres with a big pasture. I had the whole pasture to myself.
Really a wonderful location and incredible host! Very thankful we got to stay and soak up some peace and quiet!
Don and Astrid were great hosts. Definitely staying a few more days next time, this place is a gem! *Beach and kayaks are a must
