Admire tall cedars, moss covered maples and giant swordferns during your stay at the Maru Cabin through three walls of glass. You’ll feel like you’re living in a fairy tail forest where baby deer roam freely and birds delightfully chirp. Take a nap, stroll the forest and stargaze by the fire. This off-grid cabin offers a glamping experience that leaves you rested and inspired.

From the main road, drive through our property of 10 acres on a dirt road to a parking area. From your car, the Maru Cabin is a short stroll on a charming mossy trail. There are signs that help lead you to the cabin. The property currently has two cabins, including the Maru, with more to come next summer. The other cabin is 100 feet away. Fellow guests may not be far but seclusion is maintained by the dense woods that characterize the landscape. Cellular service is available throughout the property. An outhouse is nearby when nature calls. A community kitchen offers a propane stove, a kettle and water for hand washing or boiling.

The cabin is off-grid without electricity, heat, plumbing and wifi. At 12’x16' in size, the cabin feels spacious and airy. It is insulated and remains pleasantly cool on both hot and cold days. A comfortable bed awaits you, just bring some food and layers to enjoy nature.

The cabin is equipped with: Queen bed with two pillows, fresh sheets and down comforter/blanket, paper towels, cleaning spray, trash can and trash bags, kitchen cart for preparing food, outdoor picnic table, outdoor chairs, firepit and firewood, broom and dustpan.

Community amenities include outhouse with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, propane stove, kettle and water for handwashing or boiling, and wheelbarrow to cart your stuff.
