I enjoyed staying in my campervan on Andrew’s property. The parking area is right next to a pond and is surrounded by trees. It felt safe and relatively private. It’s walking distance to Whatcom Falls Park which has a great trail system. I recommended Andrew’s spot.

The site was great for Galbraith North trailhead access. Literally a couple hundred yards from the north side parking lot and the Ridge Trail. Andrew, the host, was very cool, shared his fire pit and offered up some good trail advice. Thanks Andrew! The only issue is the slope of the site. I recommend bring your own leveling kit that accommodates raising one end five or six inches. I was in a truck camper and had to remove it from my truck to get level.
Andrew is super nice, and very welcoming. Super location if you’re trying to ride the Galbraith system two days in a row and would like to camp.
Andrew was super responsive and came out to meet us with a big smile. He invited us to use the outdoor kitchen in the photos while they also cooked their dinner - which we would have done pre or post Covid. They are lovely people. We made one suggestion to Andrew which was to better level the parking space. He said he could provide levelers to future campers. It is right at the north entrance to the bike park which is why we chose it. It was very quiet!!
Great spot in a super fun area. The spot is private and you are steps away from some of tve best mountain biking and hiking in the whole country. Downtown is very close too with some excellent restaurants. Andew is a wonderful host. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.
