Lake Chelan View Vista

Lake Chelan View Vista offers a stunning view of Lake Chelan and the surrounding mountains. Mariah, the hostess, met us at the campsite the first day to be sure we were comfortable with the location. The road to the campsite cuts along the hillsides above Wapato Lake and is a bit bumpy but passable by car. The campsite area is open with sandy gravel soil and rough cut sage brush. The lack of trees gives it an open feel with 360 views but makes it susceptible to the afternoon/evening winds that typically sweep down Lake Chelan. Deer crossed along the hillsides and birds sung in the sagebrush and early summer flowers. There is well water at the site. Cellphone reception was good. Homes are in view, but not close by. I hope to stay again.

Social distancing at its best, far from the madding crowd yet within striking distance of Manson and the surround area. Beautiful views across Lake Chelan and the surrounding mountains and a very welcoming host in Mariah. Make sure to visit her Four Lakes Winery tasting room.
The site is pretty flat and we needed only slight leveling to be spot on.
Can get a bit windy up there but a travel trailer makes for a great wind break, so all okay.
Would definitely recommend this location and we definitely have plans to return.

Private, spacious and arguably the best view of Lake Chelan, this spot is a home run for RV camping. Our host Mariah was amazingly helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Mariah's campsite and would come back again in a heartbeat! The views were absolutely amazing, and the site was wonderfully private. Heads up that the winds can get very strong at night, so an adjustment that worked really well for us was to position the tail of our RV against the direction where the wind was coming from. The most magical time was in the late afternoon / early evening when the temperatures were milder, the winds hadn't started yet, and the air was so still and everything was quiet and peaceful - we just lounged on chairs at the edge enjoying the views. Fantastic.

This site was very private with beautiful views. Mariah was very helpful sending very specific directions. The road up to the site is narrow and steep in areas, but we made it in our 36' RV pulling a vehicle.

We had the most incredible time at Mariah’s property!! The view was spectacular!! Already planning our next trip!

I’m so glad we decided to book this site. The views are amazing and it’s an extremely peaceful area. The views of the lake and stars were our favorite along with seeing the friendly beautiful deer. We had forgotten a few things and had to make a trip down twice, but the gas station near the Millbay Casino had everything we needed which was very convenient and wasn’t too far. The only thing I would warn people about and maybe it was just the time of the year, but the winds were really strong at night for tent camping. Other than that, the host was very friendly, attentive, and quick to respond and the campsite was very clean and private. We will definitely be back!

It was a great place for our group. Laying down to THAT view of the stars and waking up to overlooking ALL of Chelan was amazing!
