Located in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, close to Mt. St. Helen’s. A short ride to hiking and biking trails, sno-parks, lakes for boating & stocked for fishing, waterfalls, and a campground. General store nearby. Two other stores in Cougar open year-round for fuel & recreation passes/rental. The site itself is quiet and peaceful. It sits along a private road in a very small neighborhood (little traffic). Other owners have homes here but only one is visible from the campsite & more so in winter when trees shed their leaves. We have a creek flowing through the middle of the property so you'll hear the sound of running water. No light pollution so stargazing is incredible on clear nights! Milky Way is visible from the campsite. We live here year-round so you will likely see us at some point during your stay. We offer a large parking area for several smaller vehicles, vehicles with RTTs, a vehicle pulling a camper (up to ~30'), or a small RV (~26’ or less). We have electrical hookups & potable water. We're always adding new things to the site to improve your experience!

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Melanie was super friendly and very accommodating. Really appreciated the opportunity for our dog to be off leash and the privacy of the site as we were the only campers. There are lots of hiking options at about an hour drive and a great view from the site. The site provided a level ground for our 19 foot trailer. We would love to come back in the future.
