Earthlight was amazing!! The views are incredible and not sure I’ve ever seen so many stars!! The roads were well maintained and every site had awesome views of the mountains and river. Hans was great…super friendly, helpful and responsive and we had a fantastic stay. The perfect place to get away, disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty around you. I would highly recommend!!

Flat sites and groomed gravel road leading to the site. The hill down to the sites is an extremely steep grade, but again well groomed. Even the drive to the sites is breathtaking, you feel like you are on top of the world. Our truck plus our 23 foot trailer were tight to maneuver backing out of or backing into site 5, but we were able to drive up the road a bit and turn around before backing in. The views are amazing, quiet and private camping. You can see a couple other camp spots and there seems to be some type of a structure being built (you can see in our pics) they are not by any means close to you but it isn’t completely isolated. Communication with host ahead of time was easy and quick. Make sure to bring some type of sun protection during the day as there is no shade and the wind picks up a bit at night, but not enough to stop us from sitting outside all day and night admiring the views, wildlife, stars, and boaters (way, way) below on the Columbia.
