Kind hosts & beautiful landscaping!
My husband and I went tent camping at Rimrock Lake but were rained out. Kathlee was able to accommodate us last minute and saved our trip! We chose to camp on the side with grass and a concrete pad. There is a shop bathroom available that is separate from the main house which was nice. Kathlee gave us a binder with information about nearby wineries and activities which was much appreciated. Her husband also offered to build us a fire in their fire pit and gave us some delicious walnuts off their tree. There were tons of birds including a robins nest full of babies. We could hear owls, cows, crickets, and more. There is a bit of general neighborhood noise like mowers, cars, and kids playing but it wasn’t bothersome. I highly recommend this camping spot for both tents and RVs.

We loved RV camping on Kathleen’s land! The location is very convenient (it’s 5 mts from bale breaker brewery and 10-15 mts to Yakima downtown). Kathleen is super friendly and accommodating and had great recommendations on things to do around the area. Would a 100% recommend and happily go back.
We had an okay experience. Hosts were away in arizona. We were worried re neighborhood safety in regards to locking our bikes in the back yard. The site was very noisy as right beside a house and fence that had very loud children running around. The side was squished between the house and a fence- our slideout would not fit.
It was wonderful. Booked the day of, the directions took us right there. We set up, slept wonderfully and woke to a beautiful sunrise and scenery. Thank you!
Pleasant hosts, easy access to Yakima, clean and safe area; just what we needed for our weekend trip.
The space just south of the house was spacious, quiet and dark, perfect for our RV overnight while traveling across the state. Our hosts were lovely, greeted us and guided us to our choice of sites, both of which would have been perfect for our campervan overnight. I recommend this site highly for RV travelers like us, of those visiting Bale Breaker brewery nearby. I'll be staying here again for sure.
