Along the eastern edge of the Olympic National Forest, nestled on the bank of the Little Quilcene River is where you will find Cedar + Fern. This slice of heaven boasts multiple campsites in a park-like setting amongst PNW's forest giants, Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Big Leaf Maple, etc.  While on the land let the sounds of the river wash away life's stress and enjoy a bit of the slow life.

During your stay, explore the trails throughout the towering forest to find private spots along the Little Quilcene River to take a dip. Check out all the new growth on the young fruit orchard and large food garden. Walk through the alder grove and discover both the thriving wetlands as well as the new farm extension!

Please note : We love to create!! That being said, we are always making updates and changes around the property. One of these renovations has removed the tent platforms for more space at each site and to better suit everyone's tent sizes. We have also added a sail above each picnic table for a bit of rain protection.

Site 1 - This very beautiful campsite sits below huge towering trees. It is a drive-up site and has ample level ground for tents, vehicles, campers, etc. The site comes with a fire pit, picnic table with a sun/rain sail and a hammock. Site 1 is the closest to the river, however all the sites are set back from the river. This site has it's own short trail to the river. Site 1 & Site 2 are within eye site from each other. They are both set up for privacy. Booking both Site 1 & 2 for larger groups works out great! This site ADA friendly however the path to the outhouse isn't so you are welcome to pack-in/pack-out your own camping portable toilet.

Site 2 - Fall asleep to the sound of the river amongst the huge PNW trees. Site 2 is a drive-up site and the easiest to back into - it works great for tents as well as vehicles up to 30' or car & trailer. The site comes with a fire pit, picnic table with a sun/rain sail and a hammock. Site 2 has an awesome tree swing which is a huge hit for all ages. The river is accessible via a few trails on the property. Site 1 & Site 2 are within eye site from each other. Site 3 - Closed until Spring 2022 for rennovations - we are excited for the upcoming changes!

We stayed for 2 nights at site 2 with out teardrop camper and loved it! Pull through site was super easy with our trailer and would support much bigger setups as well.

Great dog friendly spot for a weekend of exploring the Eastern side of the mountains. Beautiful setting with a short walk to a river, orchard and stunning forest. Nice clean outhouse, table, firepit and hammock. Would 100% stay again.

What an amazing and magical place. So unique and so much thought put into each site! Very friendly and accommodating atmosphere, along with an adorable puppy. The river was beautiful and a cleared trail to follow even homemade steps! Such a lovely time and 100% will be coming back! So lovely!

Such a lovely property! It started to get rainy and windy on our second night but the trees provided some good coverage/windbreak. Close proximity to so many beautiful hikes, we really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful host and amazing property! Jill was so welcoming and friendly - she even let my kids follow her around and help her in her large garden. We loved exploring the trails down to the little river. The campsite itself was nicely set up with a fire pit and covered picnic table. Sites 1 and 2 are pretty close together - it would be fun to come back with a bigger group of friends/family. Already thinking of our next visit!

Beautiful property, very peaceful. Easy to bring our two dogs and attach their leads to the trees. Host let us enjoy our privacy while also coming around once during the day in case anything was needed. Fantastic stay and the light rain was the perfect pacific northwest backdrop for our stay. Would definitely come again!

I booked this stay for my parents. They absolutely loved it! Said the camp was really well looked after and had a lot of very cute touches like candles on the tables etc.
