This place is the perfect getaway from the city, the drive from Seattle was easy and perfect distance, even for one night. The property is beautiful, the birds and the river make it so relaxing. Jill has it all set up for easy clean up. The fire pits have grill grates that worked really well for cooking on. Our almost 3 year old toddlers were safe and could run around the trails and throw rocks in the water.
All in all a fabulous stay and just what we all needed. Thanks again Jill ;)

This is a very clean and quiet camping area. We loved hearing all of the birds and the sound of the river below the camp sites. The 4 camp sites on this large property are each distant from each other so we felt very secluded and safe staying here.
Would love to stay here again.
Be sure to swing by CB's Nuts on the way. Great for snacking and the shells burn up in the fire pit.
Our host was very responsive to queries up front and very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. It felt almost like visiting a friend we hadn't seen for a while. We were moved to a different site than originally booked as the host wanted to ensure another large group camping nearby didn't disturb us, which we appreciated. We ended up camping at a beautiful, quiet area nestled between the edge of the national forest and a babbling brook. Would definitely recommend. :-)
Jill was so nice and accommodating! When we got to the campsite, it was pouring rain and we couldn't find a good spot to put our tent. Jill went above and beyond and showed us a couple other options on her property for where we could camp. We would definitely recommend camping here and want to come back when the weather is better!
This campsite was absolutely amazing! It's so intentionally set up with flowers on the table and tiki torches scattered around the site. It was very private and clean, and a perfect spot to get away for the weekend. Jill was the best host and we definitely plan on making this a regular camp spot for us.
The site is great. The host has a great vibe and super helpful and attentive. We got there very late and she was waiting for us - even invited us to join her campfire. She offered a campsite that is usually not available to rent and we were grateful for it! So worth it. The place is amazing - its a gem. Recommended.

Jill is a wonderful host, the property is beautiful, peaceful, and convenient to Hood Canal activities & hiking. No highway noise!
Nice picnic table (with fresh flowers), a fire pit, and tent platform.
I had a wonderful stay at Cedar and Fern. I booked last minute for a vacation up to the Olympic National Park. They were very quick to respond with directions and I felt comfortable arriving there after dark. The owners were away and I was the only camper. The location is quiet, but not too far off the 101. A perfect jump off spot to explore the Hood Canal area. Though I arrived in the dark, I felt safe even as a solo traveler. In the morning I laid in the hammock and took a hike down to the river. There were many awesome hidden gems throughout the property as well as clean and comfortable accommodations. I’ll be back to visit. Thanks for a a great stay in your sanctuary!

That sure was a wet weekend! Please do come back later in summer when it’s drier!! Regardless, thank you and we hope you enjoyed yourselves! Please note: we just laid a thick bark/mulch layer for a dry tent site :)
