A fine jumping off point, a home base for rough road mountain biking up the Quinault River valley.

Host Paul was friendly and helpful.

The Mountain Rainforest campsite was amazing and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy place to stay. As a single female traveler, I am pretty selective about my campsites- I felt very safe here! Paul was very kind and helpful and even shared a few fresh eggs from his cute chickens! I hope to visit again someday! Thanks Paul!

Amazing location. Very well maintained campsites that are close enough together for larger gatherings yet still with a private feel due to all the beautiful greenery. Nice clean outhouse with water and friendly host. We plan on returning.

Paul is an excellent host! And the camp is a beautiful property set right against the wild forests of the Olympic peninsula, complete with a mountain backdrop that rises literally right at the back of the camp. Paul brought out some games for our kids and took us for a tour of his garden/orchard set up. We were able to relax and take it all in at camp, but it’s a quick access to hikes and recreation as well. Top marks for this gem of a place!

Beautiful self-sustaining camp!

Paul’s place was paradise! The birds singing, the quietest campground we have been to, and Paul was a great tour guide. We would easily stay here again!
