This would be a good stay for someone who knows exactly what they are getting. To be clear, this stay is not on the actual river - this is NOT a private property or lot facing the river. The lot photos shown are in a residential neighborhood. In that neighborhood you can take a walk where there is public access to the river, where some of the listings river photos were actually taken.

My dad and I stayed here for 2 nights so we could do some hiking at Mt. Rainier. Pros/cons of this site:

Pros: quiet neighborhood, close to town, close to walking paths to the river, phone service, water onsite, clean outhouse.

Cons: mosquitos, lots of thorny plants (don’t go barefoot, and put a tarp under your tent or they’ll poke through!), only one picnic bench but site can be shared with multiple campers.
