Two camping areas: The Forest sight has un-level ground and plenty of room for a trailer site and a camp fire pit. It’s set back about 200 ft from the creek. You will be surrounded by old growth trees and a dried up creek bed to explore. Great for trailers and RV under 35ft The Beach: This spot has a rock pad that can handle 40 ft set ups, and located right next to the river. This sight is still being developed so it needs a fire pit built.

Bill was responsive and helpful!!! It was mentioned the campsite was still being developed which it is. But overall it was beautiful. A lot of tall trees around to keep the site cool especially during the day when the sun is out. There’s a nice creek right by the campsite as well. I could hear the cars on the road but it wasn’t too bad. A general store and tavern near the campsite.

Billy and Tom were super friendly although my pup was not a fan of Tom. She was still able to roam free around our campsite. We ended up setting up right near the creek and staying close to the car. You have to either go through taller weeds or up the creek to get to where Billy said more open space is and we didn’t have the energy. Super peaceful, nice little place to stop after our drive through Mt Rainier!

Hipcamper Candace

Billy is an amazing host! You can tell how much work he's put into making this a comfortable campground for visitors, & even installed an outhouse while i was there! I put up my bivy beside the river, & enjoyed dinner on a large bean bag, & slept restyling through the night. The view of the starts at night are beautiful, & listening to the running river is so relaxing. I love Tom the Bulldog & will book again someday JUST to say hi to his sweet face again! Great experience!!
