The campsite was super open with lots of space to choose from to camp and had a beautiful view. The bathroom was nice and clean and there was a book with helpful hikes and things to do near the area. We also saw some elk in the morning! We had a great experience!

This camping spot can be a great base camp if you intend to be out hiking and doing activities all day, but it's not ideal if you want to hang out at your campground during the day. There is zero shade, and it gets HOT. We had to do our cooking in the shadow of our tent and be gone all day until it created a shadow to hide under again. The hot showers are great, as are the potable water pumps with fresh, cold water. We had to keep our dogs on leash with us even though we were the only ones there because they wouldn't stop eating cow poop, but maybe other dogs aren't as disgusting as ours.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best of the Big Bottom. The campsite is private and is set in the most scenic area. It was everything we could have wished for. Shawna couldn't have been more accommodating. This was a perfect weekend and we will be back.

This site is just as described. We even had six friendly :) elk come up to observe us. If you are in the area of Mt Rainier, Mt Saint Helens, Mt Adams, hiking in Gifford Pinchot National Forest or traveling scenic Hwy 12, through Washington check out this site!! It was around ten minutes off 12 and easy to find!

This place was great! It’s beautiful and very quiet. It also has a bathroom with a shower!

Beautiful views, super clean fully stocked bathroom. Host very helpful and brought us firewood. . We already recommended it to friends.
From whichever direction you come, once you're on Cline Road you know your getting close to this gem of a property situated smack-dab in the middle of the triangle formed by Mt. Rainier, Mt. St Helens, and Mt. Adams. Location-wise it could not be more perfect - you are near all these major mountains and more. Recreational activities - hiking, snowshoeing, ATVing, fishing and just plain ol' sight-seeing comes easy out here.
The property itself is a beauty - rolling pastures, cows grazing on the land nearby, closed in by pine and maple, and surrounded by the Cascade foothills, visited by elk in the morning and evening, and plenty of fresh wide open air.
The lot itself boasts four pull-in sites for RVs with electrical and water, and there is a tiny A-frame with a heated full bath, toilet, sink and shower to boot! A large fire pit circled by stumps provides the perfect setting for your night capper.
Just outside the town of Randle, grocery, gas, a bar and grill, and cafe are all nearby.
Next time you need the perfect place to stay on your visit to one of Washington's southern volcanoes, be sure you stay here.

Nice large camping area with a great view. Host was very responsive. Hot showers and a flushing toilet are always pro - would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
