What a little slice of heaven! Super private, beautiful surroundings, easy access to Twisp, hiking and Blackpine Lake. The cutest, cleanest outhouse I’ve ever seen. We loved how private it was, the sound of the river and the benches where we had morning coffee overlooking the river. Extra touches like an extra large picnic table, garbage can (pack out your trash though...), fire ring (fire ban in effect currently) and a clothesline were much appreciated. A super great place, we can’t wait to go back. We had our three young children, dog and a tiny, self-contained trailer and stayed for three nights.
Had a great time at Charlie's place. Felt private with the constant pleasing sound of running water nearby. Lot of space for family games, a picnic table, and a nice area for a fire The outhouse was quite nice compared to the usual ones. All in all - it came as advertised and met all expectations
The spot is beautiful! We always heard the songbirds, but they were quite elusive and we only saw a couple but they were so worth it. We spent the days meandering around the property identifying wildflowers, trees, bugs and birds. The evenings stargazing and drinking hot cocoa by the fire were just what the doctor ordered.
