Beautiful wood campsite
Brilliant stay at Turkey Hollow. Matt, the farm manager is who we spoke with in person on the farm and it was super kind and accomadating to us- answered all questions, made some small talk, and showed us around. The campsite is beautiful and wooded so the shade from the sun was a pleasure. Great new outhouse and fire pit ring. It was truly a lovely time. Highlight- all the animals but the horses in particular are so so sweet and loving. We will be going back!
Great stay on the farm
We had a great stay! Our site by the creek was awesome - tucked back and private. Matt helped us move our gear in the UTV which was a huge plus. The animals are super friendly, and we really recommend staying here!
Best campsite in virginia
Janet and Mat could’ve have been more helpful, they gave us so many recommendations on wineries and thing to do, the campsite was immaculate and the horses on the property were super friendly. We couldn’t have been more happy!!
We pulled into the farm and were allowed to pick a most perfect site — it was past the duck pond along an open grassland, a few acres of horses grazing, and then buried in the trees. We were led down to a cleared campsite that banked the idyllic babbling creek. It was perfect.
Don’t miss out on this gem!
We absolutely loved camping amongst the gentle beautiful horses. We caught fish in the pond and our family and daughters had a wonderful time. The host was friendly, speedy and had everything we needed. So private and serene. Will be camping here again!
We had a great time camping at Turkey Hollow! It was very secluded next to a beautiful horse pasture. The horses were incredibly friendly and my 2-year-old loved saying Hi. The host brought us plenty of firewood to keep warm and was very welcoming. Would definitely do it again!
