Two-thirds of the property is farmland that dips down to a stream in the middle and to form a "V-shape" between the main road and the woods. The area right off the road is where you will find several barns and the grass is mowed regularly and should be easy to get around on with a wheelchair (call us to get details).
We have a large gravel parking area for RV's, Trailers and such, with well-water you can get with a hose. We'll soon be adding solar hook-ups.
We also offer primitive camping in the woods and will soon be adding all sorts of amenities (from bathroom facilities to glamping tents!). Stay tuned!

Shannon's farm is a great location close to everything such as food, gas and shops. Stayed there in an travel trailer that was warm and cozy. We took time to hike in Shenandoah which is very close to the farm. It was to cold to feed animals but we did hear and see them! Also the fire ring was very nice on a cold night. We will return soon there to see the farm in warmer climate!
Shannon has a nice spot, great views, and a wonderful host. I'd camp there again. We happened to camp the day after a torrential all day rain and got stuck. Shannon pulled us out - not a problem. Thank you! Bought some eggs from her chicken farm too.
We selected a camper site since we have a sprinter van. The camper sites were in grave lot that was just off the road. Because there was no one else camping that weekend, we were able to park in a tent site, which was in a mowed field.
The fire pit was nice, but there was just one (if multiple families, everyone would have to share); it was not close to the camper lot. Facilities were very clean. Overall a nice place to stay, but not quite as woodsie or secluded as we expected.
Our family loved staying here! Such a beautiful location and Shannon is such a kind & welcoming host who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. My kids loved being able to feed the chickens and see the cows as well.
Just what i needed.
The site was just what I was looking to find! Shannon is a great host and met me at the site to show me around. She even brought me a fire starter bundle and made some great recommendations for dinner! I was not able to fully explore the hiking trails as I was literally staying in my work van so I didn't have to rent a hotel. However, the sunset was worth the entire trip. Great space and I would definitely recommend to others. Shannon (and Larry) are always making improvements too and they are open to ideas ... so the next stay will likely be even better.
We stayed here on our way home picking up our RV, and Shannon could not have been more helpful and accommodating. While we were only there for a very short time, we first the first guests to stay at the farm and Shannon went out of her way to communicate in advance to ensure they were ready for us.
