Camp sites also have fire pits for you at your site, with enty of wood around for your use. There is also an outhouse located near the campsites. Camp sites can be accessed with a 4 wheel drive vehicle or all wheel drive, a short walk up to your site, or we will happily take you up if we have time. With easy access down to the river, you can cool off in the beautiful Cow Pasture River, rent kayaks or paddle boards (if you dont have any), go on beautiful floats that wont disappoint you, drop in a line to fish, or simply sit by the river and listen to the soft rapids. (If you want to enjoy kayaks and paddleboards without leaving our property, feel free to ask us, we try and have a couple for people to use for free) There is an outhouse at the river for your convenience, its large enough to change in as well. We do offer camping that is handicapped accessible please contact us directly. Lazy River Farm is a working farm, with lovely Scottish Highland Cattle as well as pigs, chickens and horses. Your welcome to come and pet the animals or even possibly help feed them. Nearby there are vineyards and breweries, a beautiful historic theater, as well as local restaurants. Overall we had a great experience! The property is gorgeous & the river is picturesque. Caroline is super friendly and helpful but respects privacy if you're looking for solitude.
We were set up at campsite #2 with plenty of space for a 9-person & a 4-person tent, plus 2 SUVs. We weren't expecting the other site to be as close to ours (about 50 yards), but it wasn't a problem.
There a two unneutered male dogs (Theo & Cricket) who like to visit the sites & roam around. They are very sweet & friendly, but keep this in mind if you're bringing your pup along.

Beautiful farm! Loved exploring the river and kayaking. Got to meet plenty of the animals as well including barn kittens :) Road up to the camp site was steep and rough so 4WD is a must!

We camped at site 2 on Caroline’s land. It had plenty of space for our large tent and hammock. She provides a fire pit ring and a pile of branches/chunks of fallen down trees and pieces from what they have cut. The river is a 5-8ish min walk down a good hill. The property is beautiful! She has the cutest love sign along the banks of the clear cow pasture river. We did a little fishing and caught some sun fish. Our dog loved playing with her doggies. Super welcoming environment.

It's a very nice spot that feels very secluded, but ultimately isn't too far from town. I'd highly recommend bringing a 4 wheel drive car as they advise, but you can walk your gear up to the campsite if necessary, just be prepared for a bit of a workout.

Very nice secluded spot. I was in and out, just needing a place to put my tent for the night and it was perfect. Yes, that is a road next to sign, bring your four wheel drive and head up the hill.
