Spring fed lake with a beach
Disappointed and inconvenienced
We were very disappointed. We paid for a site with electric. When we arrived, there were not any designated sites. The guy who lived there, did not know we were arriving. The supposedly site was purchased through another person. The electric available was only through a small extension cord which would not have provided adequate power for our 30 amp camper. We were told that there would be a bathroom facility which were not available. Honestly, there were no where for us to put our camper. The owner of the property refunded our money and apologized for our inconvenience. This place is not set up for campers.

Spring fed lake with a beach
This is an up-and-coming property with very communicative and hospitable hosts. The lake water is very warm and brownish but I highly recommend water shoes. It is primitive so there are no toilets or shower but bathing in the lake and proper composting of waste is usual. Plenty of firewood and available for fire pit.

Hidden gem
The lake was awesome, very chill environment with friendly owners. The lake truly is a hidden gem and the stay was more than enjoyable.

Enjoyable stay, beautiful pond!
I really enjoyed my stay at this site and would recommend it to a friend.
Pros: the owners were very welcoming, kind, and friendly. The pond is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. There is only a five minute to a highway intersection that has a convenience store, gas, propane, and an Arby’s. So when you forget to bring the lunch for a day you have a backup plan (that might have happened).
Cons: the property does not offer much privacy. There really isn’t anything to section you off from the owners or if anyone else is staying there. The property is on an intersection so you do here cars stopping and accelerating. The final con... there are a pair of relatively heavily used railroads across the street from the property which is used by freight and passenger trains. You will hear the rumbling off the trains but the good news there aren’t any road crossings near he so you really don’t hear the horns. But honestly, by the end of the stay when we heard a train coming we embraced it and actually went over to watch them go by.
All that being said, we really did enjoy the stay. If in the area we would stay again.
