Peace & Adventure at Thornton Farm

Marvin was an amazing host, very hospitable and helpful . His place has beautiful views over the farmland . Very peaceful and private , where you can hear the birds sing. . My furbaby enjoyed the wide open space to roam , I enjoyed hanging in my hammock Traveling as a solo female and felt very safe here , I will definitely return . Thank you Marvin for providing such a great place to decompress .

This was my first time using this website so I was unsure a little of what to expect. Upon arriving, Marvin was outside waiting to greet us with a smile. Marvin was very kind and welcoming. Since we were the only ones there my dogs got to run freely. We played cornhole, walked around, set up camp and relaxed. I would certainly come back here in the future.

This dude, went OUT OF HIS WAY, to make sure I had the best experience on his property. I absolutely could not recommend this guy enough. Even though I didn’t arrive until 9:30pm, he had a fire lit and a smile to welcome me. I’m sure there are more “up-scale” campgrounds. But I’m certain there is not a more up-scale man running this fantastic establishment. His goal is CLEARLY customer satisfaction and he absolutely crushed it. It was just me and my dog for a single night, couldn’t be happier, will absolutely actually go out of my way to stay here again in the future, even if it costs me an hour in driving time.

The area Marvin has marked out for each site are great! Each one has ample space and allows for privacy.

Marvin was a great host, I also added 2 bundles of firewood which he brought over. In the bundles he also included an ample amount of kindling. He also brought over an axe for us to split wood, and there was plenty of firewood throughout the area surrounding our camp which we could have also used.

The bathroom and shower we clean and we had a great time! Thank you Marvin!!

Melvin is a very gracious host. The camp site is very spacious and quiet.

Perfect place to stay for the weekend!

This is our second time staying at Thornton Farms. So quiet and peaceful. We will be back again!

Nice quiet sites. Hot and cold water and toilet on site. More than enough wood for the night for $5. Very easy going host. I highly recommend.

Always a great time when you stay at the Thorton Farm.
