Thank you for a lovely space. Quiet, restful. The moonrise and the call of birds were an added treat.
Beautiful setting right on the water. We had a cool breeze during the Hot 90 to 100 degrees temperature. The evenings were fantastic. Quiet neighborhood with background of the distance lights of Norfork. Super clean bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. If we ever go to the Norfork again we will check with David to see if he has availability.
The view was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was beautiful and very easy to access and well appointed. Beautiful sunset!
I loved tent camping near the dock on David's property. It had a great view and beautiful spot to watch the sunset right on the Elizabeth River. Everything you need and very friendly host. Will definitely stay again!
This was an awesome hipcamp and we would definitely go back. The hosts were great and the camping beautiful. It's not far from the zoo or aquarium if you are looking for a weekend trip.

We had a wonderful time at David’s place! It felt like our own private oasis. We set up camp on the dock, and enjoyed spending time on the stand-up paddle board exploring the inlet. David was super friendly and accommodating. Although the Hipcamp is attached to his property, we felt like we had very sufficient privacy throughout our whole stay. The bathroom was a really nice option to have and David also supplied other potential needs like sunscreen, a coffee maker, and bug spray. The view from the dock is beautiful and the neighbors were all very friendly. We definitely recommend David’s place and would gladly stay here again!
