Find us on Facebook at @campatrendezvous. Please like our page and you'll find up to date info on our different sites. We'd love for you to send photos of your visit at Camp Rendezvous!

Purchase clean, fresh eggs from our free-range chickens for your camp breakfast; add in a variety of our home made rolls and muffins for a tasty country treat.  For a high-end dinner buy one of our farm raised rabbits to roast over your campfire supplied with a FREE bundle of firewood.  Enjoy your meals while watching our horses graze in the adjoining pasture.  Visit and meet our critters on a free guided educational tour of the farm, upon request.  Then relax and snack on our farm made kettle corn while enjoying your campfire.

After a great meal of farm raised products, step off the property into the George Washington National Forest to hike along the many trails or head over to Bryce Four Season Resort (only 4 miles away) for a full day of fun golfing, grass skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, zip lines, snow skiing, snow boarding, tubing and many other activities. In addition, Lake Laura is also just 3 miles away for fishing, boating, hiking, beach and swimming. Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is just 4 miles away and offers a variety of outdoor concerts during the summer weekends.  We'll let you know who's playing on our Facebook page.  After a full day of having fun, doze off to the sounds of the woodlands where you might hear an owl or a coyote or two.  But before you fall asleep, call your friends and tell them what a great day you had.  We have good cell service for most carriers.

Rendezvous Farm is also within an hour of several caverns, two civil war battlefields, the Shenandoah Civil War Museum, New Market Battlefield Military Museum and the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River. The Appalachian Trail is a half hour drive from the farm. This area has much more to offer. We have brochures for many other nearby attractions.  Feel free to inquire about what interests you.

PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY.  Your stay at Rendezvous Farm, a 16-acre working hobby farm bordering George Washington National Forest on 2 sides, offers you access to over 1 million acres of public land to play in. The fee for this site is $30 per night for up to 4 people.  Up to 2 additional people can stay on the site for an additional $10 per person, per night.  For more than 6 people we recommend you reserve an additional camp site.  This  PRIMITIVE PLUS site borders our horse pasture and is closest to the pond.  It is a TENT ONLY site.  Camping is not allowed around the pond so others may enjoy it without encroaching on your camp area. We provide you a large area to choose a site to set up your tents but please leave a pathway for other campers to access the pond.  Parking is a few feet from the camp area. We provide one FREE bundle of firewood but require that all fires are completely extinguished before retiring for the evening or leaving our property.  Six gallons of drinking water as well as water for drowning campfires is provided. Your site has new picnic table too.  Hiking trails begin just a few yards from the campsites! An excellent app to help you find the many public trails is ALLTRAILS.  We can direct you to short private trails near the campsite.  Our small run-off pond is part of our wildlife habitat so please no swimming. We have a nice bluegill population for catch and release only fishing for the kids.  The pond tends to shrink in size as the summer heat evaporates the water faster than it's replenished.  All sites are close to our neighbor so we request quiet time from dark to dawn.  FOR YOUR SAFETY, THAT OF YOUR PETS AND OUR ANIMALS, PLEASE READ THE RULES AND SAFETY SECTION.  This is provided once you make a reservation.

I cannot recommend camping at Allen & Peggy’s enough! It was a gorgeous weekend, camping and exploring the national forest that backs up to their property. Allen was also a delight to speak with about their farm. Will definitely be back!

Nice place and super friendly hosts. They go the extra mile to make you hace a great time, the area is ample, and with the perfect balance of comfort (toilet, access to clean water, firepit, etc).

The only part where I had some mixed feelings is that the people in the farm next door have some machinery and were doing work early on Saturday and for most of the morning until noon, I will still return to this place hoping that the heavy noise is not an everyday thing.

Though the weather was not in favor of camping but the site made it worth staying. There are 4 sites and each is closer to a very near and clean washroom. Peggy and her husband are very responsive when it comes to any of your camping needs. Cheery on top is that you can get chickens, rabbits and eggs, if you forget to bring your BBQ stuffs. Loved the place highly recommended.

This was a lovely place with absolutely great service! The campsite was a nice area with a picnic table and nice sized firepit. They proved us with more than enough water and refilled it while we were out hiking during the day. They also supplied us with free dry wood which you would find nowhere else. The restroom was very clean and smells more refreshing than most public restrooms. Overall the campsite and service were a 10/10 giving that nice comfortable family-owned feel.

Adorable campsite - super friendly hosts who also let us do our own thing. The site itself was beautiful, with a pond, trees, interesting vegetation, and wildlife. We had potable water, a clean and cute outhouse, firewood, and anything else we could need. We got their eggs and Kettle corn - highly recommend. A top tier Hip Camp site, will definitely come again.

The question....What was it like staying here?
Peggy and Allen were very responsive from the start of our booking and very good about making sure we got directions that would get us to their place. We were met upon arrival with all the goods we ordered and our campsite ready for us. Peggy and Allen were so welcoming and willing to share their love and knowledge for the land and its inhabitants. I am truly grateful to meet and know people who do their best to live in harmony with the land and also share it with others. Just note you will hear, roosters, whippoorwills, frogs, toads, owls and other sounds of nature through the shadows of night. We also got to be with stars and the sky filled in as the night got darker. I would definitely go back, I would just like a little less wind and a little warmer but we did alright with our mid-forties night and wind that made it sound like rain. It was nice to wake up and heat up some of Peggy's delightful treats in a cast iron skillet with butter over the fire! Thank you!!!
