This pond is 100 years old. “Mi casa es Su casa,” so pitch a tent and stay awhile.
Pondside Bliss offers an oasis of tranquility with a carefree medley of the birds singing, an escape from the hustle and bustle of city sights to a weekend getaway of fishing, kayaking, and a picnic lunch of grilled hot dogs, burgers, and corn on the cob. The pond has Bass Bream-brim, Pipefish, Crappy, Catfish Perch, and a few others, catch me if you can. For bait, you can use minnows spinners, earthworms, plastic worms, crayfish, and grubs, soft, plastic baits. Enjoy roasted marshmallows on a stick from the in-ground fire pit. Engage in an adventurous hike in the woods and observe the sighting of the wild geese, a family of deers, leaping rabbits, and old Betsy the cow with her herd of black-coated Angus yearlings.
Delight a ride in the boat or kayak and experience the cool sensation of the air. Relax in a hammock with a book and /or relish the blissfulness of the surroundings. Challenge yourself to some tossing fitness activities by tossing horseshoes, tossing corn holes bags, tossing bean bags, and engaging in a competitive colorful ring toss game. And the winner is! Bring along some board games to pass time away at the picnic tables.
Conclude your campsite experience at Pondside Bliss with a fish fry from your own fishing skills and inventive cooking and creative culinary skills and recipes as well as a sing-along with Karaoke. Indulge yourself in grilled baked beans, chili cheese fries, cinnamon roll-up on a stick, and pig in a crescent biscuit on a stick straight from the grill or the pit. Invest in some long wooden Bamboo skewers for grill cooking. Pondside Bliss will be a memorable and blissful experience. Lastly, pitch your tent and relax.

An absolute perfect vacation. I can not thank our host enough. Absolutely private no one on site or earshot. So many fish caught so many big bass great for all levels of angler. Clean and lots of firewood. Ethel was so nice and accommodating. I AM SERIOUS BOOK THIS PLACE IF ITS OPEN. We drove 6 hours to be here and we are going to do it again. Thank you again so much for having us and if you choose not to stay here you are missing out. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I went on a 3 month roadtrip this past summer if I had stumbled upon this piece of paradise the whole trip would have been spent here. Can’t express my happiness and gratitude more.
Wonderful place. It is quiet, private and brimming with interesting wildlife. Next time I go I will book for a longer stay.
We stopped for a night on our drive from FL to MA. Really nice, secluded spot. Well kept with a wood pile, fire pit, and picnic tables. The pond is nice and home to lots of wildlife. There were fish jumping, frogs croaking, and geese honking. Maybe consider earplugs. Also recommend that you communicate with Ethel ahead of time to make sure you understand the directions. The pond is on the back part of the property and it took us a few tries to get in. I wish the directions we received had a little more detail. Other than that, this is a great place.
Great spot!
We had a great time camping by the pond. Its a very nice spot with plenty of space. We had 7 people all with separate tents. There's a few picnic tables and a fire pit. Only 10 mins from stores to pick up supplies. All in all we had a great time and would recommend.
Great hostess with great communication. The spot was unique and very private. I had the whole place to myself! There were unexpected niceties like firewood, bbq’s and a bench swing. The fishing was great and I camped right next to the water. It was very quiet at night. I’ll definitely be back!
We had such a great stay! It was so nice and peaceful and I loved that we got to see the cows! Would definitely recommend! Ms Ethel was there to greet us when we showed up!
Big and private spot right on the pond! It was clean and well kept with plenty of space to set up your camp. There was a few picnic benches, a fire pit, a charcoal grill, and some precious cows as your neighbors. Ethel greeted us when we arrived and was quick to respond to any messages. Would definitely go back!
