Camp Treehouse
If you have kids, camp here!
This place is incredible! There is so much for the kids to do and see. A treehouse with zip line, multiple small structures and play equipment, and lots of trails through the woods. Lots of sweet, friendly animals to meet and see. Ross and Kelly run a nature school out at their farm Mon-Thurs, Friday and Saturday are open for camping. Most of the sites are a few yards into the woods, easy to portage your equipment to. They have wheel barrows available to help. We had the place to ourselves and they were gracious enough to let us park by the treehouse to camp out of the truck. The outhouse is clean and convenient with running cold water to wash up. Ross was kind enough to show us around and let the kids see the animals, including their new baby lamb! They have put a lot of time and love into making this place a one of a kind outdoor haven for kids and families. A wonderful family eager to share their slice of heaven with others. We will definitely return!
Their livestock guardian dogs do bark to protect the sheep and goats, but it was never bothersome to us. You can barely hear the traffic noise from nearby 95, but again, not bothersome at all. A quick trip from Richmond, this is a must see and do for anyone with kids!

Camp Treehouse
Camping with animal friends
There is clearly a lot of love and thought put into this land. The tree house was fun and well built. All the animals were super friendly. Goats, free ranging chickens, turkeys, big beautiful farm dogs, pigs and more. Kelly let us pick fresh blackberries from the garden in the morning. We also got a nice tour of the property from a very "wise for his age" boy her son Graeme. Set up was easy, there were several campsites to choose from, all well maintained. There are firepits near each with plenty of wood. And lets not forget the nearby swimming hole that was the highlight of our visit.

Great place to stay!
This was a really lovely place to get away. Kelly even provided filtered water to drink, which was very thoughtful. My girls had a great time playing all the animals and playing in the treehouse. Great experience overall.

Camp Treehouse
This campsite provided a secluded feel that you can't get at big campgrounds but ALSO tons of amenities. Our kids (and us) loved exploring the little trails behind our campsite, the treehouse/swing/climbing area, seeing all the animals (the turkeys and chickens were walking free-range around, but also got to feed goats/sheep and say hi to pigs and ducks), and walking down to a cool creek. There was a shelter at our site which was very appreciated when it rained for several hours of our stay. There was a little an old-school outhouse available for us. Kelly was a very helpful and lovely person! Absolutely plan on coming back!

We will be back!
Fantastic camping experience! Everything was just as advertised. The kiddos loved the animals and the treehouse and zipline! Hosts made sure we had everything we needed. Pit toilet is clean and well-maintained. Will definitely be back again!

Peace of Earth, Organic Farmstead
Kelly and her family were very welcoming and kind. The campsites are well taken care of and the grounds are great for kids and adults alike. The tree house and zip line stole the show for our 8 and 5 year olds. They are wonderfully dog friendly and we can’t recommend them enough! Do note that they have two beautiful and sweet Great Pyrenees that do bark overnight to protect their farm/flock. Not a bother to us, but for others who are light sleepers, just pack your white noise machine.
