Our campsite just south of Richmond open and available! We offer a safe retreat on 60 acres - you will be the only campers on the property during your stay! This secluded property boasts a deep water stocked pond that is over one hundred years old but is less than thirty minutes from downtown Richmond. The pond is surrounded by peaceful pastures and, directly adjacent to it, is our large RV parking area and campsite, right on the water! Hipcampers enjoy room to explore the areas around the pond, fish from the shore, kayak and canoe in the pond, and watch the stars from our fire pit at night.

We arrived in rain but were happy to see that the site is very level so we did not get wet. Beautiful spot and directions were great — we hope to come again when the sun is shining!
The host was very responsive. The site was great and really private. Cows were friendly and came to say hi. Wild geese landed in the pond. The tent was really spacious.

Very primitive, but it was explained beforehand. Hosts were in contact to make sure I had no problems.

Had a great stay at Baugh Bliss. Enjoyed the picnic tables and easy access to the pond. Plenty of shady space to camp while feeling secluded. My 5 year old loved digging in the sand.

The campsite had an awesome layout, with our group being able to fish next to our fire pit. The fishing didn’t go our way but we were able to adventure into the woods surrounding the campsite and had a lot of fun. Would recommend to campers looking for a chill and relaxing experience.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The directions were very easy to follow, & driving right up to the camp site made it super easy to unload everything & set up. The area was so serene and private, my friends and I felt like we had our own little oasis out there. Since it was pretty hot all weekend, the bugs were out and about, so we just made sure to have bug spray on hand at all times. This was the perfect little area for a nice getaway weekend without having to drive super far away from civilization. We had no issues with anything at all. We found enough firewood in the woods surrounding us to keep our fire going at night, we enjoyed fishing from the pond during the day, and there was plenty of space to hang out in the shade and set up our hammocks. It was also super cool to be so close to a food lion (10 min down the road) since we needed to grab a few essentials the second day we camped. I would 100% recommend this camp site to anyone :)

I was looking for a private spot to camp for social distancing and this site is perfect. The po nd is pretty and the site is right next to the water. This would be a great place to teach kids how to use a canoe or kayak -- enough space to practice but no current and you can't get too far. You're on a farm. We were entertained by a little cow vs goose drama. The campsite is as clean as any park campsite I've been to. I recommend this site.
