Super convenient and hospitable!
Mary Sarah was warm and welcoming and a totally delightful host. The she-shed is darling and appointed with tea lights, a table, electrical outlets and rugs. This was a perfectly convenient and comfortable stay. Mary Sarah even provided french press coffee and snacks, and full bathroom and shower privileges! Thank you, Mary Sarah!
we camped in the yard, and had access to bathroom, coffee station, snacks, and more! I think it's important to note that it wasn't a super secluded spot if that's what you're looking for, but it felt really safe and felt more like community camping and I really enjoyed the experience - plus you get extra amenities. the host was so nice and welcoming!! we would come back again for sure and would definitely recommend to a friend.
It’s a wonderful place, host give us a very warm welcome, she’s so nice and friendly, we enjoy the fire, it was raining when we were there but no so bad, we will definitely be back next time and stay for longer.
Our stay with Mary Sarah was delightful. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The property was gorgeous, spacious, and all of the amenities were spot on. We had a wonderful weekend camping at Enchanted Land, and I will definitely be back next time I visit the Shenandoah area!
Mary Sarah is a genuinely wonderful person and we felt so welcomed with her.
Great place! Location was perfect - secluded and in the woods, but close to Washington National Forest and hiking trails. We stayed in the SheShed which was cozy and convenient, especially since it thunder stormed all weekend and we would have been soaked in conventional campsites. Mary is a lovely person! Warm and inviting. Full of smiles. The guest bathroom and mud room with the mini fridge and electric kettle is in her home, so she is warm and welcoming. It was a perfect stay!
Mary Sarah is a wonderful host. She welcomed us to her yard and house with open arms. Weather did not cooperate and we were not very prepared for wet days and cold nights, so she even provided extra towels and blankets. I wish we could have had the cute shed but there is always the next time.
Relaxing comfy beautiful!!!
First time my husband and i have stayed at one of the hipcamps and it was absolutely wonderful! The camp itself was gorgeous! The sapce that was provided for us was phenomenal and our host Mary Sarah went above and beyond anything she had to do to make our stay a pleasant one. We couldn't have asked for a better person! Hands down one of the sweetest people weve ever met! We would reccomend her and her camp 100x over!! Thanks so much for the amazing experience ❤
A blessing to stay here !
This was the Best place we could have stayed ! The motherhouse had everything we could have ever needed, but more then that …the host Mary Sarah was simply the most wonderful person ! She was kind and generous and so accommodating! What an honor to have met her and I can’t recommend this place enough !!! I HIGHLY recommend adding on the breakfast option! Her cooking is to die for and soooo delicious ! She truly loves cooking for others and you can taste the love in her food! She thinks of and provides every last detail which makes the stay just so much more enjoyable !
Not for camping but yes for shed
Mary Sarah is so sweet and a really good cook. However, would not recommend if you are interested in getting in some nature and a real camping experience. I sorted on the app for hiking and swimming because we were bringing a kid and a dog. Her spot is a house where you are camping a few feet away from her house, her neighbor, and the road. The closest park is george Washington National forest (about 30 min away) and we were luckily able to find a hike and a place to swim there. If you are looking for a more pampered experience, her she-shed looks really nice (but you bring your own mattress pad), and her cooking is great, and she has cute snacks like s’mores to make in the fire. She also provided lots of toys for the kid. This just was like setting up a tent in a yard that is comparable or smaller than yards in the city, which we didn’t expect.
