We are a working horse farm situated along Route 29 with rolling hills and a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can escape the city and reconnect with nature. Pitch your tent in the pine trees along a trail or small creek and watch the wildlife pass you by. Sites are a 1-5 minute walk from access road, and you will have complete privacy. If the weather is dry you can drive right up to campsite. Hike, bike, or Bring your horses or ATVs to ride the trails crossing 20 acres. Build a campfire in the evening. If you are lucky enough to have a cloudless night, you can fall asleep under the stars, since we have no light pollution. In late May you will see plenty of lightning bugs. Year-round you will have peace and privacy.
Centrally located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville, there are several wineries, cideries, and breweries within 20 minutes of La La Land.
There are five campsites:
Creek Site: This is the largest site and sits at the start of a year round creek. Listen to the creek bubble out of the ground as you relax in the shade of large hardwood trees. Nice and cool in the summer with lots of shade--bring bug spray. This site is the closest tent site to the outhouse, water, and trash, which are about 130 yards away. It is also closest to farm animals, so you may hear, turkeys, chickens, and horses throughout the day. There is a fire pit right next to the creek, and parking for 2 vehicles and 2 tents.
Star Gazing Campsite: This site is not along the creek, and is more in the open. If you prefer stargazing, this is the site for you. There is shade during the day, but enough open space for sky viewing at night. This is also the site where you will see more wildlife. It is the farthest from the outhouse, about a 7 minute walk. You will have complete privacy.
RV and group site 1: This site is in an open field right next to our horse barn, with a wonderful view of the mountains. RV and trailer campers have access to water and a 110 outlet for electricity. If you have a large family group with multiple tents, this is the site you want to book. That open field also means an expansive view of the stars at night. This site has a fire pit and is very close to the outhouse, as well.

Very friendly hosts with large secluded land that’s perfect to escape the city. Very dark site to see the stars! Will definitely return!
A lovely tucked away camp site with dozens of trails, blackberries, and access to well water near the horse barn. We loved the solar lights at night to help us around the camp site!
Our group had a great time camping here. The location was beautiful with wide trails cut through fields loaded with blackberries. The campsite was spacious and easy to access. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon
Given a tour of campsite and amenities on arrival. Supplied with everything you need for an enjoyable stay! Would certainly recommend to others and go back ourselves!
The camping site was great and the cluster of trees were perfect for the kids’ hammocks.
Great Camping spot! They even came out to meet me and lead me to the campground. Only a 30 minute drive to Crab tree Falls.
We did not make it to the campsite, unfortunately. But Allana's communication, response time, etc. was amazing. I look forward to staying here in the future.
